My boyfriend and I love to go out and watch sporting events and our first choice is always Buffalo Wild Wings. We love the absolute inundation of TVs(360 deg views!), the loud atmosphere where everybody’s yelling at their teams, and the plethora of sauces they have available for their wings. We typically order a large set of boneless wings and split it into 4 different sauces so we can try a bunch of them. We also love that they have a beer of the month meaning a tall 20 oz of that beer is the same price as a pint would normally be(~$ 6). Finally, we love their mailing list where we always get coupons for free stuff that keeps us coming back. So why only three stars? Two major gripes: Inconsistency in spiciness: In their menu, BWW has a huge spectrum of sauces, ranging from not spicy at all to not-sure-if-you’re-gonna-survive-this spicy. We’ve found that the spectrum can often be wildly inaccurate — a ‘medium’ grade sauce can often be hotter than a hot one! Granted, everybody has different reactions to different spices, but we’re always surprised with how one sauce graded as spicy can be relatively mild, and vice versa. We’ve come to know their sauces pretty well and now have our favorites but it definitely took some trial and error. It would be great if there was an option to try out the sauces. Arizona pride: This is probably the one that bugs me the most. This BWW is located in Tucson, Arizona and therefore I would expect that whenever Arizona games come on(e.g., U of A basketball), they would get the center of attention. We came here a few nights ago for a U of A basketball game and they had one of the large screens dedicated to it, while the rest of the large screens were an NFL game between two non-Arizona teams. Furthermore, the audio was kept on the NFL game, making it really difficult to concentrate on U of A basketball game and figure out what was going on. We wondered why we had even left the house that night. Despite these two major gripes, the delicious wings and the fun atmosphere will keep us coming back again and again. We’ll probably just call ahead to make sure they’re showcasing Arizona teams.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a place I love to come to with family on Saturday and Sunday for games and spending time chatting. The restaurant does get fairly loud at times, but I have never had a problem holding a conversation. They have 3 sections, dining(with low top tables), a bar(with a bar and high top tables), and an outdoor seating area(with minimal TVs and a mixture of high and low top tables). The staff is always welcoming and nice, the food is good(at least 2 dozen wing flavors with some rotating new flavors) but if you are looking for top notch wings, this is likely not your place. You come to BWW for the experience of sports and a decent place to get some chicken.

WOW this place is loud. My fiancé absolutely loves this place, so I decided to take him here for an early dinner on a Friday. We arrived a little after 4pm and there aren’t a lot of sports on during this time slot on a Friday, so I kind of expected it wouldn’t be too loud. However, even though there was very little going on, you cannot hear a darn thing in the establishment. I’d understand if I came in on a Sunday during football. But it was kind of disappointing that I couldn’t even talk to my fiancé during our visit without feeling like I was shouting at him. The service was okay. I’ve had better at different BWW but it seemed like our waitress was just slammed. She seemed to have several tables, but there were plenty of other servers just standing around like they had nothing to do. Nice waitress. I’d give her a chance again. Since we were here during Happy Hour we ordered a 4 $ appetizer. It was described as southwestern potato chips – thick potato chips, onion, tomato, cilantro, and a southwestern ranch sauce. I was excited. The moment it arrived, I was disappointed I didn’t get cheese sticks or deep fried pickles(also $ 4 during happy hours of Mon-Friday from 2−7pm). Most of the ranch sauce ended up on the bottom. Chips were a little strange for my taste. I really wouldn’t recommend these. Ended up ordering several wing types each. I have to say – try the limited edition flavor«Mayan Midnight Mole.» I absolutely loved it. The waitress brought out a sample of the sauce with some fries for me to try before I actually ordered it on the chicken. But it was fantastic! Wings took a bit too long to come out, in my opinion. The outside breading/coating was felt like it had been cooked just a bit too long. But for mediums, the portions were good. We both ended up bringing leftovers home. We’ll be back and see if things improve in the noise department. I’ll also try a different appetizer and report back – others are probably better.

My husband went to BWW’S this past Sunday with a friend. They purchased some drinks while they waited for their order. After their order arrived my husband gave the waitress his Debit card to pay for the drinks. After the waitress came back she handed his a receipt but no Debit card. My husband left then realized that she didn’t hand his card back to him. He went back inside mentioned it to the waitress she denied having his card said she gave it back. My husband asked for the manager who came out said the same thing that they didn’t have it. My husband left drive off, very mad. We called our bank immediately cancelled the card. 5 minutes later the manager calls him on his cell phone advises that they had his card. He drove back, there was no apology for their negligence. We went through all the scary things that go through people’s heads that it’s the holidays people are looking to scam people for their cards to make illegal purchaes. We went through the hassle of calling our bank and cancelling our cards. Never again will we trust the establishment. Neither should you. They made him feel as though he was crazy and really it was their mistake.

There is one thing about BWW that will never disappoint, the amount of TV’s that are in the place! For entertainment purposes, this is a great place to watch any sporting event and be in a relaxing environment. The problem is, you are at a chain restaurant and you get a «cookie cutter» experience. The food is average and overpriced(over $ 1/wing on the regular menu) the service is average(will they remember me when I come back… probably not), and you have the stimulation of watching whatever sporting event you want. All that being said, you have to figure out what is important to you and go with the flow. If you want authentic food, this isn’t the place, if you want a great television sports experience, I wouldn’t tell you to go anywhere else. So, Ill let you figure it out on your own :) Will I be back, absolutely. Will it be my first choice, absolutely not.

Wowed by the customer service. Luis Lopez, Manager, went out of his way to fix a minor complaint. Very professional and made our night.

I don’t even know where to begin… I decided to give Football Sunday at BWW on Oracle a chance so I can watch some games, drink beers and eat wings. NOTE: I WASEXPECTINGITTOBEPACKED! The game I wanted to watch was at 1:00 pm, so I got there at 12:00 since I was expecting a long wait. I walked in was given a buzzer-thing and figured, well since i’m waiting I might as well see if there’s a spot at the bar I can waste my time at until i’m seated. (The service at the bar was actually great, even though the bartender was complaining about people sitting at her bar to her fellow employee right next to me, but whatever I got my beer) So finally my buzzer went off at 12:50, it was like perfect! I took my beer and my appetizer(cheese sticks) with me to my table, sat down and started watching the game. Next thing I know it was 1:42, 40 minutes and literally no one had come to my table to wait on us! I had even started looking at the waiters passing by going to other tables by us and they kept on walking. At this point I was VERY annoyed. I got up found a personal in black and let him know I’ve been sitting at my table for 40 mins and no one had taken our order, the only drink order I had received was the one I ordered myself at the bar! He asked me what table and let me know he would send someone my way. This man then comes to my table gives us some menus and tells me «Sorry for the wait, but that’s what happens when you sit yourself.»…LIKEEXCUSEMEBUT, WHAT?!(I almost lost it) I said um, we didn’t sit ourselves we waited at the. and as I was trying to explain that I was JUSTWAITING at the bar he interrupts and says«YA, so do we know what we would like to order?» «Would you like another beer or appetizer it’s on me?» I’m not one to get crazy so, I dropped it. We accepted the beers, declined the appetizer and placed our food order. He went and placed our order then comes back and tells me he’s passing me on to this chick and she will be helping us from now on. We actually received our food in a timely manner but the wings were completely drenched in sauce it was a complete overkill, I started swiping off most of the sauce with a napkin just so I could eat them. Okay, so, anytime I wanted a refill on water I had to like stare at her just to get her attention. We had finished our food during half time and everything was still right in front of us until we got up and left, she never came to take it out of the way. Since the game had been over for a good 5 mins, I was just like okay, I see her just sitting there talking to a coworker maybe she’s going to bring us our check after this conversation is over… NOPE! She sat down and continued to talk, so I finally waved her down and got her attention just to bring us our check. The check still had the one round of beer that was supposed to be «on him». At that point I just wanted to leave, so I didn’t leave a tip to show my gratitude for the amazing service I had received.

I love this place overall, first off, which is why I’m not giving an overall poor review. I like coming here during happy hour to sit at the bar for some drinks and maybe have some food. I love the overall vibe, the trivia, the sports on TV, and the good beer selection(more local beer would be even better but hey, it’s a chain so I can’t get my hopes up!) However, I have had a poor bar experience enough to prompt this review today. I was helped immediately when I came in and served my requested drink. I looked at and closed the menu after five minutes, knowing what I wanted. It truly took half an hour before the bartender checked on me again, only after I had almost finished my drink, to ask me if I wanted another. Then I had to ask him to order something. I heard the wait staff also calling to him more than once to pour their table drinks for them. Maybe I’m being passive aggressive, but I feel I need not wait this long for service, or need to request to order without being asked by staff first. Maybe he was having a bad day, and I understand – we all do from time to time. But I really just wanted prompt service without having to wait and it didn’t deliver today. I’ll come back, but I’ll be sad to see this bartender again if I do…

Awesome place we stopped for happy hour and it was happening here. While we looked at menus stuff noticed and offered us to try daisies before ordering. It was very helpful. Food got ready fast and everything was tasty. Def one of our new fav spots in Tucson.

Great service from Jordan, our server. Overall good atmosphere but really shitty wings. Nasty ass rubber skin means their fryer isn’t hot enough. Woulda asked for a replacement but just tore the skin off instead, inedible. Good chips and salsa but when your name is Wings, you’d think you’d make good wings. Great beer, icy cold. Coulda had 4 stars if the rubber wasn’t there.

Good wings. A little pricey but ok. They were out of of the 3 beers I wanted. It’s a chain… what can you expect.

Had a bad experience with the«Operations Manager» today. Our issue concerned using two different forms of valid discounts at the same time. The manager asked me who I worked for. I told him that I lost my job in 2007. He asked me if I had lost my job due to disobeying the rules. At that time I told him he needed to leave the table — NOW! This in not what I would expect from someone in a managerial position at a prominent Tucson restaurant. I doubt that this review will have any impact, but as a regular patron, I expected to be treated better!

Love this place sports bar lots of games all the time… The menu is mostly wings with many sauces… it is very loud in there all time… love the fact that you can order all drumettes or all flats perfect for everyone… The wings are crispy under the sauce… I love this place always a welcome treat for me…

The wings are way too bready here! This is my main problem with this place, however I like that it’s relatively clean. Wings and beer are crazy overpriced here. The wife asked how much a blue moon was and it was 8 dollars during happy hour! That’s too much in my opinion, given that blue moon is almost not a craft beer anymore. The server we had was nice, but again did not refill drinks. Not her fault, as she was obviously busy given that the place was packed. I wish the managers would hire more servers, so that it would improve our experience here. If the service would improve and the wings be a little less pricey, then this would be our place for wings, however we’ll stick with Wing Stop.

So I dont usually get excited about a chain restaurant. It’s a place you go when you just want to relax with friends, not have a life changing culinary experience. However, for a quick dinner date with husband, we decided to use a gift card we were gifted and go to BWW. The server was very good, quick, and efficient. I was damn impressed. The food was fresh… yes, read that… fresh. As in, that stuff wasn’t microwaved, or if it was it is even more impressive since I didn’t taste it. I had the turkey burger which was fresh and juicy and awesome. I don’t know if I was hungry or my low fat diet has finally done damage to my taste buds but it was good!!! Anyways, would I come back? Absolutely. Oh by the way. I saw an act of kindness from one of the waitresses and was very impressed. Another reason to come back.

After a 40 minute wait before seeing a server, they decide to refuse to serve my beer because of my having the temporary licence, which is a state issued id. I understand the need to stop underage drinking but if you can’t decipher the difference between a 30 year old and a person that is underage you’re going to start losing business. I’ve come here every Sunday for football, but there are several other places that treat their returning business with much more respect. I will return, but not nearly as often.

Service here is minimal and the waitress only appeared for a few seconds to stare us down to see if would catch her eye before she darted off again. 6 dollars for a half cup of cheese curds that are terrible. I’ve been to three different BWW in different states and this is the saltiest food I have ever tasted at this restaurant. Barely edible but I was so dang hungry I just gulped my water to wash down the salt then soon ice because my waitress was no where to be seen. I only recommend this location if you plan to get so drunk that you don’t care about the service. Hopefully you have a chaperone to help you.

I brought my family to BWW on a Friday night and requested to sit in the«Dining Section». I thought this would be great for us to chat about the week and plan our weekend. Wrong. The noise level was insane. We couldn’t hear each other without shouting. That included placing our order, during which I had to speak loudly directly into our server’s ear to make myself understood. The room was also VERY dark. So dark we needed to use the flashlights on our mobile phones to be able to read the menus. This was a very negative experience, but I do have to give them props for some very tasty wings — next time we’ll just get them to go.

As you can see from my posts I am a BIG fan of chain restaurants, but I am I fan of this place because of the service I have received. Natalia is such a great service and seems so nice. She really made me want to post about my experience. The food was good and the service just even better. My boyfriend and I sat outside and because we are away from everyone, we can easily be forgotten. Natalia was very attentive throughout the entire meal. She came to our table right away for drink orders, then food and continued to check on us once we were done with our meal. I ordered my usual BBQ and Asian Zing mix(traditional wings) with wedge fries. Wings were crispy and not drowning in sauce, the fries were warm and fresh. The food was brought out on time and we experienced no problems.
