Broadway Proper Apartments

Watch out for this place. Have lived there for 3 plus years and each passing month it gets less and less desirable to live. For the most part in the past it was a very quiet and restful place to live. But now the place has started to become the local dog kennel. I don’t know why they are not screening prospective residents to see if they fit in with the current residential community. In last 1 ½ years they started the the new program of trying to nickel and dime the residents with additional fees for some bogus cost increases. For example, fixed up the laundry facilities to make it look refreshed. Basically, they slapped a coat of paint on and then raised the cost of washing clothes by 25%. Their reasoning for the increase was the big increase in water and sewer costs. Please don’t insult us. Now they are starting to charge $ 25 a month surcharge for water and sewer on new leases. What’s up with that? Again, I already paid for that in my rent. Plus, their reasoning is because of cost increases in water and sewer. Instead is adding fees, why don’t you maintain the property and fix the sprinkler system so you are not watering the road and wasting water. I guess bottom line is I wish I felt appreciated and not be taken for granted as a resident. Like I said before, buyer beware.
