I will never go back! I asked the lady if they use hard peel off wax or strip wax for brow’s, she said hard, clearly she doesnt know the difference! I was so pissed when I got in that chair and she put that strip on my face, I tried so hard not the think the worst! I personally do not like strip wax I like the kind that get’s hard and you peel it off! She didnt clean up my brow’s, she didnt do the top part of my brow’s and she didnt do in between. My brow’s came out WAY to thin! I hate them! I dont like using a pencil to fill in my brow’s, I like the natural, clean look! My mother is in reflexolofy and in cosmetology! I know everything threw her and she used to do my brow’s till I moved out to tucson, because of this experiance I wish I would have taken that $ 17 I spent and used it towards a plane ticket home to get it done by my mother! Thank’s but no thank’s!

Do you care how high the counters are? Do you care if there is music playing? Okay, this is not a spa, it is a place to get your hair and nails done at the mall. What do I care about? How I look when I leave and did I get value for the price– I was offered a beverage and got great customer service from Kristy, my stylist. She was attentive, friendly and asked about my expectations, and when I gave her the perogative, she used her training to give me good results, It was a bargain for the price and I will definately go back.

My husband purchased a living social deal from this salon for a cut, highlights, deep conditioning, and style. I don’t know if it just depends on the person you get at this place but my stylist(Rene) was great! She was beyond friendly and I had never seen someone be so excited to cut my hair! I love when your stylist actually gives there input as well and she was more than helpful to suggest what style would look best on me. I left this place happy and have had a lot of compliments on the new style so far. The one bad thing I would have to say about this place is that the look of it needs to be a little updated. Your suppose to have a salon like feel but it has more of a super cuts feel. Other than that I would recommend going here and asking for Rene because she knew what she was doing.

Absolute WORST customer service experience I’ve EVER had. I purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi for this salon months ago and I’ve been trying to make an appointment ever since. I’ve cut them some slack for being booked every time I call because usually it’s just a day or two in advance. However this past weekend I called to schedule an appointment for the next weekend and they stated that the manicurist would call me back. She never did. I called again the following Monday and was given the same run-around. They asked for my phone number again and said they’d get back to me. They never did again. So I called back the following day. This time, I was told they were booked again. Never have I gotten an apology. Never have they tried to schedule to me for another day. I get the same dismissive treatment every time I’ve called. At this point, I would rather go to Groupon for a refund. If I’m getting treated this way over the phone, I’d hate to experience the service after walking through the door.

The salon itself wasn’t bad and I actually thought the owner was very nice. The reason I am only giving it 2 stars is that I got a mani pedi(with a living social) the next appointment was there only half way through my manicure, so that lady had to wait a bit and then as soon as it was done I felt very shewed out of the place even asking if my nails were dry since it had been about 5 mins(she didn’t put my nails under a black light or provide me with a fan to have them dry quicker). She said they would be fine, that it was fast drying. As soon as I walked outside and reached in my purse for my keys my manicure was completely screwed up. So bad that I had to go home, take off all the polish and redo my nails. I’m sure I could have gone in and had her fix it, but the other lady had been waiting awhile and I knew she had started her manicure already and I would be waiting awhile. I thought it sucked paying for something I had to redo.

I really dislike writing bad reviews, but I was sorely disappointed in this place. I came here with my husband, each of us on a Livingsocial coupon. I thought it had potential to be a regular salon for me, because the prices are reasonable, and they tout it as upscale, compared to the big chain chop shops. I’ve been looking for a good mid-range salon. When I booked the appointment, I had no trouble getting us both in at the same time. She explained that I had my appointment with one of the stylists, and that my husband’s hair would be done by the owner. Sounded good to me. When we got there, I was expecting a nice, neat salon, though not super fancy. Turns out it’s a revamped sports-barber shop. All of the counters are really low because they used to hold TVs instead of styling tools. It looked terrible, but I thought okay, no big deal, maybe they just haven’t had the money to upgrade yet. There was no music, and the salon was eerily quiet. One of the women there commented on the music being off, but made no move to turn it on. So the salon remained quiet. Musicless and chatterless. I definitely got the better stylist. I wish I could remember her name; she’s blonde, in her 20s. She knew exactly what I wanted and how to achieve it, and my hair came out great. My husband, however, was being trimmed by the owner, who is an unsmiling man with little sense of humor. It also appears that he either has no idea how to cut long hair to suit a man(my husband’s hair is shoulder-length), or his techniques are horribly outdated… or both. Hubby got a trim, as needed, but then he was blow-dried and the ends curled under. This is a style for little girls, not a grown man. If you remember He-Man, this is the look he ended up with. At one point, while we were getting our haircuts, the woman who commented on the lack of music took a phone call. After the call, she ranted about how the person on the other end wanted an appointment with a specific person, and wouldn’t see anyone else. I felt like not only was it very unprofessional to discuss this in front of customers, but it also made her look like a jealous hag. She should have been happy for the stylist who got a specific request. Long story short: not everyone at the salon is terrible, but the overall atmosphere and poor attitudes of the owner and other staff means I’m unlikely to return.

TERRIBLE customer service. As others have posted, I went there on a Living Social coupon and will never return. The owner is the worst of all – no smiles, inefficient. As another commented, you would think if they bother to register with Living Social they would want the business and welcome it! Didn’t even keep change for a $ 20 on hand and had to go next door to get it – then seemed annoyed and flung it down on the counter. No thank-you’s for visiting, etc. Stylist seemed uncertain, despite supposed years of experience. She too, did not introduce herself or ask my name once! Kept waiting too long for appt. also. This guy needs a class on how to run a successful biz. Save your money and go somewhere that appreciates your business and lets you leave feeling good about the experience!

I wish i could give this salon lower than one star. This salon has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a groupon for a Mani pedi, seemed like a good deal, my mistake. First of all booking an appointment here is a painful experience. They are understaffed and have no one available to book the appointments and end up playing phone tag for days, once actually booking the appointment the staff is not properly instructed how to use the booking program and takes 15 – 20 minutes just to get it in the system. I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advance, called the morning of to push it back an hour and confirm the appointment. After driving an hour due to traffic and a hidden location I found it. The manager informed me I had booked the wrong appointment and was not going to be able to be helped. I have worked in the salon and spa industry and I was appalled at how rude this man was. I happily refunded my groupon and will NEVER consider this salon again.

This is a salon, not an Italian restaurant as the other person wrote. Probably the worst pedi and manicure I have ever had. The gal doing my nails didn’t seem too confident, didn’t shape my nails the way I had asked her and the polish wasn’t done very well. The pedicure chair was a nice looking chair, but when I go over to it was just a tupperware dish pan type of thing. The foot massage was not even average. After the salt scrub was done, they weren’t rinsed well and now I have salt in my polish on my toes. Never had one this bad before. Please save your money and go elsewhere. I am now going to have to go and pay another salon to get the pedicure re-done :-(
