Shinai is the best kept secret in Tucson. She does not advertise and I only heard about her from a prominent health fitness leader living in Tucson who went in for chronic fatigue, stress and back pain. This is what I learned about her: She has over 30 years of experience in holistic healing. Her specialty is acupuncture (she’s a licensed acupuncturist) but her unique approach combines light therapy with acupuncture which yields incredible results. I’ve heard and saw the before and after results and it was enough for me to take a few days off to visit Tucson for a series of treatment.
This first thing that struck me when I met Shinai was how calm and confident she was. It is very apparent that she is highly skilled at what she does. I went in for a balancing treatment and facelift. I didn’t feel the needles going in. On the ones that she thought might hurt, she told me to blow out (nope, no pain). The number of treatments depends on your age and physical condition. Each treatment lasts about an hour and 15 mins.
