1st Choice Termite & Pest

I can’t say enough good things about this company. Nice people, reliable services and decent pricing. David, the technician that usually services my house, is very pleasant and thorough with his work. I’m happy to recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.

As a repeated customer I just had the worst experience with this company. I had a emergency with kissing bugs and we set up an appointment but because the guy got the wrong address from his staff he ended up 45 minutes out. But because he had a second job he couldn’t come for another 5 days. He didn’t offer me Someone else to come out on Wednesday. Which will not work. This experience had left a poor experience in my mouth.

I own and operate a veterinary hospital in central Tucson. It is IMPERATIVE to me that I do not get a flea or tick infestation from an incoming patient. I use First Choice because their chemicals are very safe and very effective. Add in that their prices are very, very competitive and they always work around my schedule, I could not be more pleased with their service.

I don’t know how exciting a pest control company can be, but I have always used First Choice and have been very happy with Lia and the team. They are reasonably priced, use high quality treatments and my house is still standing (aka no termites!) and bug free!
I like that they are locally owned and I can speak directly to the owner when there is a concern. They are my go to recommendation when people need a termite inspection.

I recently use 1^st Choice Pest control for silverfish, in my home. The first was a technician name was Barry and when he arrived
I ask him if the office told him I had called about silverfish, he told me no, (I had caught 3 of the pest for the first tech as instructed)
and when he saw them he said yes they are silverfish, but assured me the general chemical they use would work… so he treated my home and as he was leaving I ask what should I do if this did not work? Barry said give the treatment two or three days to work, but if I see any more silverfish after that to call them back out. This is what I did and I had to call them back out because the first treatment did not get rid of the silverfish… So a second technician named Sean came back to my house about a week later, and again when I ask him if the office told him he was treating for silverfish he response was no. But he proceeded to treat the house again, and I thought this time it worked because I did not see a silverfish for a few days. Then on the forth day after the second treatment I killed two very alive silverfish. Naturally I called 1^st Choice back at 8:30 the very next morning. This time the receptionist Theresa would not set me up to have someone come back to my house… she said the owner Rhonda Boyer will call me back. At 118 pm Rhonda Boyer had not called me, so I called Theresa at 1^st Choice and she said Rhonda was on a termite call and will call me back when she gets into the office, at 2pm, Rhonda finally called, never ask how I was or how she could help me. She just was insistent that silverfish is not so bad and she was told by her tech that he did not see any silverfish, (according to google they come out at night). I goggled silverfish and found out they destroy everything, books clothes, bedding any and all fabrics and papers, is what silverfish eat. Rhonda refused to come to my house again and treat for silverfish and even said told me to call another pest control service and hung up the phone on me. So this is how an owner of a business acted. she just hangs up on customers what about the 1^st Choice guarantee to remove insects. They are NOT a pest and insect Removal service, what they are is pay us and if that don’t work call someone else pest control.
Please do not use 1^st choice for any of your insects because they CAN NOT get rid of silverfish and they are one of the easiest pest to
get rid of according to three other pest control companies I have spoken with… I have also report the extremely poor service I received to the BBB and Angies List, so if you can think of other place to report this sorry service to let me know, thank you…
