Horrible restaurant service! Very rude employees! I go to Waffle House all the time but I will never go to this location again!

This Waffle House is kinda hit or miss. Some time when I ask for my eggs scrambled, they’re scrambled. Other times when I ask for my eggs scrambled, they’re fried. So. I guess I get my eggs however the cook feels like making them; but you better believe if they aren’t how I asked them to be cooked, they’re making them over.
The staff isn’t the friendliest and they’re having loud, personal conversations when you come late at night. They charge you a $ 1.50 «to go» fee, which is absurd. You don’t have to carry the food to me or clean up after me when I leave, but they definitely charge you. (I believe this is a standard to go fee for WH).
The place is pretty clean, close to a QT and another plaza. This location isn’t the best but it isn’t by far the worst. It’s the closest location to me so I’m sure I’ll return. I’ve lived near it for 4 years and I have only been here a few times. It serves its purpose when you want that greasy Waffle House food.

Came in for some t-​bones and they were simply delish! In less than 7 minutes we had our complete meal and the service was so nice and friendly! I will be back soon!

I gotta disagree with the other reviewers about this Waffle House location on a few points.
The food was excellent (love greasy Waffle House food — most of the time). Our server could not have been nicer or more friendly and prompt. The place was reasonably clean and there was no blaring annoying music to destroy conversation.
The crowd hanging about in the parking lot sipping bottles out of paper bags in their cars from the package store next door however is a definite minus but I can’t really fault Waffle House for that. Maybe Tucker /​DeKalb PD needs to make a pass through more regularly — some of the conversations out there were getting rather heated.
We will be back the next time the craving for late night, good tasting, Waffle House comfort food hits but I might exercise my 2^nd amendment rights when walking across the parking lot.

I’ve been here 2 – 3 times, but never again. Sat down for 10 minutes around 2 PM will very little traffic in the restaurant. Never got my order taken. Watched a guy stand at the register for 5 minutes trying to PAY. Waitress, «It’s not my register. Sorry.» Didn’t even try to get someone else to ring him up. I got up, left, and drove to the LaVista/​285 location (which is always good).
Avoid this place. If you manage this place, you should be embarassed.
I’d give it no-​stars if there was the option.

Worst service ever! Raw bacon, no damn onions on a freakin patty melt– seriously bad. Skip this one and keep driving to the LaVista or Mountain Industrial locations– much better!

First, I’m a big Waffle House fan. Many a night, the Channel 70 Productions crew will wrap in the wee hours and WH is the only place to get a good, hot, meal. However… at this one I ordered chopsteak and cheesy eggs and the chopsteak wasn’t good at all. It was like it had been stored for way too long. I was offered a replacement, but time was running short and I passed. The reason I mention this specifically, is that the same thing has happened at other WH locations in the past year. Something in the system is wrong. Not a huge deal with everything they do right, but worth checking into.

Eh tucked away behind a gas station & Mexican resturant. You know what your getting when you walk in here but sometimes you need that grease as comfort food. Not the friendliest staff.
