The Spot Sports Bar & Grill

Came in a Thursday night to watch the NBA Finals. Very empty but not too shabby. The place is decent for couples and if you’re tryna be on the low! Lol I ordered the turkey club but they were out if turkey. So I ordered the tilapia sandwich with a side salad. The salad came with iceberg lettuce, carrots and tomatoes and cheese. I was disappointed because of the lettuce. BUT it was actually really good (not sure if it was because I just was extremely hungry and on a restricted diet) but nonetheless. I ate everything. The waiter was friendly but had to be flagged down a couple times. Drinks are strong, and no oranges for the blue moon my friend ordered. All in all, I would only come back if it was a last min resort and I was in the area.

The only reason I gave them this star is because there is not an option to give less. I had the worst experience ever. The waitress gave me my appetizers with no plate and 2 napkins. So we had to decide do we want to put our food on it or wipe our mouths. Then I had to wave the waitress down to give us our drinks. And it wasn’t like she was busy it was all of 5 people there. And when the drink came she only gave my husband his and asked me what was I having, like I didn’t tell her already! We had to get the attention of who I think was her boss for her to come get our food orders, cause she was slammed with those other 5 people! When our food came out I ordered a Philly Cheese steak that was missing all the vegetables that was supposed to be on it, and it had this disgusting cheddar cheese on it. I don’t know who told them that that was a Philly but they lied. And once again I had to wave the waitress down because the 2 napkins I had I ran out of. Worse experience. I will never come back!!!

I thought it would be cool to try to apply to work at the spot. They offered my 8 an Hour to start I thought about it an refused an told the owner. I hope they go out of business soon. Don’t go here they are terrible to there employees an want to hire people for 8 an hour I said I have experience an references an 2 other jobs I don’t got time for this. Anyways there’s nothing better I can do right now then say don’t go here because they underpay there staff.

This place is horrible, bad service, nasty service, high drink prices, expensive food, just dont go there i wont be back.

Went in on a Tuesday night. There was about 10 people in the building. Some playing poker and some sitting at the bar. The bar attendant was great when approaching us in a timely manner. She forgot my water though. The end of the bar we sat at was no lights. I guess they were trying to save on the light bill. We ordered to go lemon pepper wings. they were a little overly salted but good nonetheless and we had a great amount of fries. I’m sure other nights it will be fun though

Good food I did order to go so I can’t say about dine in but the food was well done and taste was good my belly burger was delicious and the filly stake was tasty

Drinks are nice! Chill laid back spot where you can relax and vibe! If you ride, come check out the biker specials! To da bros! ROOP ROOP!

I tried to give them another chance but this time I’m not coming back.
Ok, I arrive with my brother and his lady. After waiting 5 mins for a waitress, I go to the bar to order the drinks. The bartender tells me she was coming to take my order… cool!
My the time I get back to the table a different waitress is taking my brother’s girl’s drink order. I try to tell the waitress that ordered at the bar but she said no she’s gonna put the order in… what?
I go tell the bartender to take the drink off the tab, which she does.
The bartender brings our drinks. A total of $ 23 bucks. I give the bartender $ 30 bucks expecting change and guess what, she never bought me change. I was going to tip her $ 5 but she took $ 7. It’s only two bucks but it’s the principle.
Bottom line, the owner, waitresses, and bartenders are so thirsty cash that they will do anything whatever unscrupulous thing for a buck!!! I’m not coming back again.

We were looking for a place to play pool and my friend found this spot. I usually don’t go to places with that have 3 ½ stars or below, but since he picked it we decided to go anyway. We pull up and it’s connected to a gas station with a car was to the other side of it. (I’m already telling my boyfriend this does not seem like a good idea) As the seven of us entered all eyes shot on us, made us feel like we were unwelcome. I am already wanting to leave this place, but just as we are a deciding to turn around a middle eastern/​Indian/​not sure what she was lady came up to us. We asked how long the wait would be or the pool table as all of the three were occupied and were informed the tit would take about ten minutes. I’m already not feeling it and so is my boyfriend, but everybody else wanted to give it a try. She seated us and gave each of us a menus. She immediately wanted to take orders, I suggested that we should not eat hear because there was a weird smell and I could not see a food grade. She took everybody’s drink orders and was starting to annoy me when she kept on trying to get me to change my order of coca cola (taking meds currently) even to the point of saying that a drink could be mixed non-​alcoholic (what’s the point if that). I saw the bartender pull the beers out of a back room (suspicious) all three of the guys in our group ordered different beers. All the beers were piss warm, my coke had no fizz and tasted off and my friend complained of the same issue. The two cocktails were extremely strong. The lady returned to us asking us if we smoke hookah (we do, but by this time we all knew she was trying to get some more cash out of us) we sat maybe another 10 – 15 min and decided to get the check. It took us about 20 minutes to get the check and at this point the she was telling us that a pool table has become available and we could play we were not interested. I suggested that we pay in cash and leave as this whole place was extremely sketchy. Btw the coke made my friends and my stomach hurt. Never again.

There is charm-​Inn

Just moved to Tucker and met some locals at another bar… they told us about The Spot. Wow great food amazing mixologist. Not just a bartender but a true mixologist. Cheap drinks to boot!

Fun. Great. So much fun with friends. I can’t stop laughing. food is good. A lot selection.

When we were looking for a quick place to eat and watch the game on Saturday night The Spot popped up and after reading the reviews we decided we should come, also considering there wasn’t much else in the area. ((Make sure you read the not recommend reviews at the bottom before going)) When we arrived we pulled into a gas station parking lot with a car wash on the other side. This didn’t deter us much since some hole in the wall places have the best food. When we entered the place was dead for 8 on a Saturday night. We were greeted by staff sitting at the bar and made our way to a table with no real instruction. We sat for a few minutes until the bartender walked over to give our party of 5 two drink menus and two food menus. The food was a bit steep as well as the drinks. I decided to order just a sex on the beach for $ 8 and mozzarella sticks for $ 7. The waitress said instead of the sex on the beach she would make me «the special». When hearing about a special drink you would think its a discounted drink. But when getting our check it turned out to be a $ 15 drink that was weak. And tasted and looked very similar to a sex on the beach. My friend ordered wings and the wing tips were still attached. Some people don’t mind it but in my opinion that’s just lazy and horrible presentation. Everything we ordered was topped with dried parsley flakes and served in baskets or styrofoam plates. Our waitress had an attitude and changed halfway through dinner into what looked like lingerie with jeans. Not to mention some man working there was watching our table almost all night, with us being the only ones in there. I got a very strange vibe about this place. The Spot has «everything to offer» but we started to think they REALLY had EVERYTHING to offer if you know what I mean. Bad food, bad service, high bills for no reason. Only giving this place one star because of some of the décor

the bartenders are very friendly. I feel the southern hospitality. I definitely recommend for down home fun

Food is Average at best. It’s hard to take a hot wing seriously when the chef is too lazy to remove the wing tips and the owner doesn’t enforce it. Just leaves a bad 1^st impression. All though compared to some of the well known sports bars in Atlanta the lounge ambiance without the big city Friday night crowd can be refreshing … If that is what you are looking for. Pool tables will be open. The music seemingly works and adds a soft touch.
When you walk in you immediately feel the owners footprint and vibe. It works for a short time until you realize the vacant pool tables, the empty dinner tables, the uncomfortable bar chairs that have lost hydraulics «law suit waiting to happen «. In my opinion the place struggles to find its identity. Midtown lounge feel with Blue Collar clientele.

I’m rounding up and giving The Spot 4 stars. I wish I could give 3.5 stars but hey. I come to the spot to dance on Friday/​Saturday nights. It’s either hit or miss, though. Half the time I come and the place is packed. Then the other handful of times I come here it’s dead.
The bartenders are pretty cool. Cute & friendly. The food prices are a little high for my liking but the drink prices are average. I’ve had a hookah & the price of that was too steep for my blood.
It’s located in a Texaco parking lot next to the carwash. Not your average place for a bar but the parking is free & entry is $ 5 most times. Ladies may be free depending on who’s at the door.
They have a little rewards program I’m a member of as well. Inside, there are a few pool tables & the dance floor is a nice size.
I’m sure I’ll be visiting again. Since it’s close to home I know I can stay for a little second & head home.
