This place is convenient and home of the blizzard so those are big pluses. The wait time can vary greatly here. The people working the window are usually helpful. Be sure to check your order. Prone to small mistakes. I will continue to come here though.

Ok I know it’s Dairy Queen, but these dudes are so friendly and clean! Nice to have a chain that cares.

Never thought I’d write a review on Unilocal for a dairy queen. Sometimes though, you’re just struck by how remarkable it is to actually get a properly made version of what you thought you’ve been ordering for years. This meal made me realize how low my standards for fast food had become, and how good it could be. And I wasn’t at at five guys, farm burger, or an artisanal grass feed beef food truck, but a regular garden variety dairy queen, using the same old frozen factory patties every other dairy queen in America gets. I got a burger here, and this thing looked like something you would see in a television ad. I’m not even a fan of broiled burgers, but there was a delicate note of char in this thing. The lettuce was fresh. I can’t even remember the last time I saw lettuce in a burger that looked edible. The soft serve hadn’t been spoiled, the cone was crisp. The ice was clean. It’s one of those things you didn’t even notice was gone until it’s right back in front of you. It felt like I was dreaming. The weird part is I walked in a minute before closing, literally the worst possible timing. The staff was too polite to even considering pointing that out, and I didn’t even realize until I left. So yeah, five stars for a dairy queen. I went there. No, I don’t understand it either. But this is the alpha and the omega of the dairy queen franchise as far as I’m concerned. Watch your back, Bloomington, Illinois.

I’ve been coming here for a while. I had always hoped they renovate and they recently did! It looks so much more pleasing and modern to the eye now. This DQ has been established since 1940 and I agree with Sylvester T. below that it is a true landmark in Tucker, Georgia. I always get either a vanilla cone(was not stale) or the Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard. Sure hits the spot when you have sweet tooth. I have tried their burgers and fries as well. Not too bad. The service here is on point. Enough said.

Went for a dipped twist cone. Only one dip to choose from, no twist, only vanilla ice cream, the cone was stale and the ice cream on the cone itself was minimal. Went to McDonalds a few feet down the road to compare and the cone had more ice cream, wasn’t stale and was over $ 1 cheaper.

I don’t know how to write a review to Dairy Queen. I’m assuming everyone has had their food(home of the blizzard) and i’ve never had any problems with cleanliness or bad behavior. I ordered the Oreo blizzard, still amazing even if it was a small, but you can get any amount of sundaes, splits or burgers and fries if you like. It’s Dairy Queen!
