Horrible business! I came in to the appointment as a new patient. I told Dr Lenchner all my health problems and concerns. He proceeded to order the appropriate tests. Someone else came in after he left and told me the amount that I would be responsible for. But they would NOT bill me, I had to pay for the services/tests upfront. No one explained this to me prior to my appointment. I was not prepared for that surprise. I was so embarrassed and upset walking out of there! How can a health care provider not advise patients this information before hand? Then how can they let a patient walk out of the appointment visibly upset?! If a business is going to require payment at the time of, they need to advise all patients BEFORE the appointment so they can be prepared!

Worst 2 doctor office visits we’ve ever experienced. After only 2 visits, I had to find a new allergists for my son. The first visit was over 2hrs wait just to be called to see a nurse for vitals. We then waited an additional 20min for Dr Silk to make an appearance in the exam room. There were no explanations offered for the delay nor any apologies. I had to ask and was nonchalantly told«today is very busy». Our follow up visit was equally as harrowing. This second visit was over 75 min wait upon arrival. No apologies. No regard for my time or my young child(patient). The actual doctor time with Dr Silk wasn’t even 15 min. The whole experience felt like we were products on an assembly line. Thus, the actual treatment did not seem trustworthy to me. The lack of customer courtesy and service forced me to feel as though the few tests that were quickly done and prescriptions quickly written were to placate the situation and to keep the assembly line moving. I don’t doubt that Dr Silk is a good doctor but I believe its difficult for him to perform at his best when working for an assembly line type practice. We left school early both times and came straight from school. It took over an hour to arrive there on Marta(2 buses). Even though I fed my son before arriving and brought snacks to both visits, I still heard those dreaded words«mommy I’m hungry. My heart sank because the appointment took so long that I ran out of food. We missed our return bus after both visits and had to wait almost an hour for the next bus. Plus we still had over an 1hr(2 buses) Marta ride home. I too had a hunger headache by the time we got home. These simple doctor visits took over 6hrs the first time and over 5hrs this last visit by the time we got home. It was an odyssey not a doctor visit. I cannot recommend this Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Northlake office. I will not be back there again. Can’t put child through that anymore. We have found a new Allergist who is NOT affiliated with Atlanta Allergy & Asthma and we are very pleased with the better medical treatment and the better customer service.

The way my asthma and allergies are setup… I need to leave Georgia completely. I have been struggling with asthma, respiratory conditions, food, nasal, and skin allergies practically all of my life. I decided to stop visiting specialists a long time ago because nothing ever worked long term. I got really sick last year and knew it was time to see a specialist. I’m not sure how I even found out about this clinic but I’m so glad I did! Dr. Silk is amazing! He makes sure you are involved in every part of your treatment plan, keeps up on the new cutting-edge approaches, and cares about his patients. The staff is phenomonal and the office is always very clean. The only con I would say about the office is that it can take a little long to get an appointment. There are several locations in the metro area, so if you’re a long-time sufferer like me, even short-term, do yourself a favor and check them out.

I see Dr. Linda Guydon here — she is absolutely the best. I began going to the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic in 2002 and moved away from Atlanta in 2006. I returned to Atlanta less than 3 years later and went right back to Dr. Guydon. While I was away, I tried out different allergists and realized that Dr. Guydon and the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic provides above average, high-quality care with attention to detail. Sometimes you will have to wait longer than you’d like, but what that evidences is that when Dr. Guydon gets to you, she takes her time, listens and comes up with great solutions to your allergy and asthma concerns. They do not try to rush you out. The office is clean and the staff is professional and knows what they are doing. When I first began going there in 2002, I did the allergy shots and continued them for about 4 years. I was almost done with my treatment when I moved. While I didn’t completely finish my allergy shots, I can certainly say that they made a big difference and my allergies have improved. If you have allergies or asthma, you should definitely try this place and try Dr. Guydon. You won’t be disappointed.
