We have here a good average place to grab a bite and enjoy your friends. It is clean(restaurant, bathroom & grounds) & neatly set up with a large bar area and another room full of tables & chairs, even outdoor seating with weather permitting. Plenty of parking. We sat at thr bar and the service was friendly & pleasant & fast. We never waited for a drink or refill and all the food came out timely & not rushed. The bartender was an older woman and she was GREAT. The menu is large and has a ton of appetizers, sandwiches and sides on it… not so much on the entrees but it does not seem to be that kind of place anyway. We had mainly apps and they were good. Absolutely nothing wrong with anything but nothing over the top either… but the prices are extremely fair and reasonable so it is nice to get good food and not break the bank every time. The thing I would suggest is that they bring on some healthier options for appetizers and sandwiches, maybe creative salads. Everything is fried & very heavy, but nonetheless good. The wings were juicy but way too covered in bbq sauce… i would just order them dry next time with sauce on the side. The nachos were delicious. The tacos were very simple but flavored well… they come hard or soft and both shells were fresh & good. We had beers and the selection is the basics. You are not getting crafts here… just the general classics like coors, lite, etc with a couple others like sierra & sam adams. It is a great place to run in, meet friends, grab a bite/drink & just hang out. I’d go back.

Gave this place another try during lunch after a 1.5 year break. Sat in the bar area and it is still the same. Food is not bad but the service is pretty bad. Best guess is unless you are a regular they just don’t care. I’d spend more money there but can’t wait to get out. It appears they have enough business so we are both good.

Just dropped in for lunch… our waitress was so friendly, and the food was great! I had beer-battered cod, which was delicious! Perfectly crispy batter and moist firm fish. We split the cheesesteak egg rolls which were also perfectly seasoned and fried… nice and crispy. We’ll be back!

Was recently in for dinner while working in the area, sat at the bar and found the bartenders to be very pleasant and entertaining. Definitely a locals place but I never felt unwelcome. Food was good and the prices fair, will be back the next time I’m in town.

Great NE Clam Chowder — friendly bar tenders — good chicken wings — overall great experience for lunch on a sunny Saturday on the way back from Ocean City.

New owners have turned this place around. It is right up the road from my home. Friendly atmosphere for year round locals and plenty of room for or summer visitors. Good food and mic atmosphere. Affordable specials.

My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night. We stood at the door by the bar for 10 minutes until another customer told us there is no hostess. Not any of the staff that walked by. Granted they all looked like customers because the waiters and waitresses are dressed completely unrecognizable from a patron. Let me take that back… The customers were dressed up, the waiters and waitresses looked like they just came from the beach in shorts and hoodies. Completely unprofessional. There is no welcome, you feel like you are being watched and observed by the staff and the customers. The menu is uninspired and small… Big print doesn’t make the menu look bigger… The kitchen is in some kind of sack roof with a chef who should have his beard under a hair net. So… Service was slow extremely. We had no seating. The place looks huge but non of the space inside is allocated properly. It had lightly rained everything was wet outside and we sat on the stage that wasn’t being utilized… Granted with the shotty and rusting PVC pipe above the aluminum/canvas tent over the stage I don’t blame the band for not wanting to ruin their equipment or get electrocuted. Absolutely none of the furniture matched… And I don’t mean in a bohemian chic kind of way, oak dinning room chairs, plastic lawn furniture, a kitchen dinette with leather and dark wood with a few wood picnic tables thrown in doesn’t help. We sat in the high dinette on top of the stage. I ordered water and my boyfriend ordered miller light. It tasted funny. Well water tastes disgusting in this town. And the draft beer was served in a small 12oz cup and you couldn’t find any prices for drinks or even a list anywhere on the large printed menu. Which I had to grab myself from a rack on the wall. I ordered French onion soup. He ordered a 14.99 pasta… Linguini with red sauce. The French onion soup was going bad, the cheese was lacking and of poor quality. The linguini was not worth 14.99 the sauce was watery and skimped on. I send my French onion soup back after waiting 10 minutes and getting the bartenders attention from across the room. She gestured unprofessionally to the kitchen«staff» cause honestly I couldn’t tell who was staff and who was the owner/managers friends who were hanging out in the gally. A moth almost went into the kitchen since it isn’t closed in and is in some kind of shack type add on in the back. I send my food back and all the«staff» really the friends who hang out back there come out and stare at us. They are gesturing with glasses and telling other bar goers who then stare. I ordered boneless chicken tenders with buffalo sauce(mild) and blue cheese. My boyfriend is done eating his food before my meal comes out. An apology from the waitress is all I got. The chicken fingers are not properly coated, the mild sauce has some kind of cream or something in it making it taste like a mix of honey mustard and hot sauce which is disgusting. I taste the blue cheese and it tastes floral… Because it’s tartar sauce. No celery sticks and no apology from anyone else. Completely unprofessional and honestly I think it was maliciously done. Needless to say I will never go back

Great service on a Monday night drive home from the shore. My husband enjoyed pork loin special n my shrimp scampi was great. So much food, we took home enough for lunch. Shared a scoop of mint chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate shell. Will definitely return here

Comfortable friendly Bar/Restaurant with good menu options and weekend entertainment. Try the pulled pork sandwich with the Long Hots! Dinners are also awesome.

OMG did our waitress suck! She was so rude! So nasty! How can anyone be act like this when I am the one spending the money!!! I got the shrimp pasta, my girlfriend got the pasta. It was AWEFUL! The amount of garlic butter and water combination sauce was enough to kill someone! I had a beer and she had a drink that was ok but our meals never came with the included sides! What kind of waitress who looked«seasoned» would not know to ask about the sides!!! The food was poor and the atmosphere really sucked. Also we sat at a table that got bumped into by drunks all night! What a fun time! Try your best to stay away and with that note our bill was over 60 $! FORTWOPEOPLE!!! WEGOTPASTA!!! Never again!

I hate to put it this way, but the thing with incompetence in a restaurant is that sometimes it works in your favor and serves to sweeten your opinion of a place that doesn’t deserve it. The first time I visited Levari’s was for for drinks and apps with my boyfriend, and the bill came to $ 18 for 5 beers and a huge plate of pretty good calamari. I was pleasantly surprised, and, as there were none listed, I assumed this place just had great beer prices. I realize now that the bartender must have forgotten to charge us for 2 of our beers. Based on this experience, I came back with 9 of my family members for dinner the next week. My sister was looking forward to BBQ which is on their online menu, but the waitress informed us(at about 5:45) that the grill wouldn’t be fired up for another 45 minutes(it didn’t say THAT on the menu), but that she could wait until then to order BBQ(really?). She ordered something else; I ordered a blackened mahi sandwich. I lifted the bun to spread tartar sauce on it and found a grill brush bristle inside. The clueless waitress took it back and had a new one made, but there was no offer to comp it and no interaction with a manager/owner, which I thought was common practice. METAL in my sandwich and no offer to comp it? Won’t be back. I was hoping I’d stumbled upon a hidden gem, but I guess I’ll just stay in OCNJ from now on. The upside: The one thing I did really enjoy about Levari’s on the Friday night I visited was the outdoor patio with live music.

Overall this is a good, fun place to visit. Reasonably priced good food with great service from the bartenders and waitresses!!! Levari’s has a great wine tasting event(usually once a month). The waitress is great; the food is great, and reasonably priced, and the owner is always on hand to speak to his customers at this event. They have Italian specials on this night. The woman who sets these up for Levari’s does a great job.
