The people working tonight we’re very nice and friendly. If you’re in the area come here. Got a Coffee & Cream malted and a chocolate with crunchy.

I love carvel and I always go out of my way to get some of their delicious soft serve ice cream. This particular location is nothing to write home about. I sampled the Nutella and thought it tasted good but I couldn’t really tell because the sample was so stingy. I ordered a large because the portions at carvel are almost always stingy. This portion was not stingy at all. My large weighed 17 ounces. The taste however left a lot to be desired. The owner did such a poor job swirling it that it didn’t look like soft serve ice creamy very much. It looked like a regular scoop of hard ice cream. It melted very fast. This was the poorest quality carvel I have been to. The store also looked old and in need of an update or at least some air conditioning. Toppings were standard and boring. 3 stars only because it’s carvel.

Worst… Carvel…Ever. So I go in with my girlfriend because, hey, its buy one get one free. They even screw up my order, but I take the screwed up order-its a sale, why not? At no point in my ordering, did they interrupt me and say, unlike other carvels, deal didn’t apply to the large. At no point in my ordering did they interrupt me to say, unlike other carvels, for some arbitrary reason, I couldn’t get Nutella Ice Cream. No, they waited for when I was paying for my girlfriend to tell me they were arbitrarily adding an additional $ 6.50 to my bill. I feel ripped off by this establishment in particular. Its prices are high and while the ice cream is OK here, I find others-particularly the one not far away on Mill Road in Eastchester, to have a superior product and far superior service. For the road, I complained to Carvel, which did respond-was slow, and they gave me a $ 5 gift card regarding my experience. So, I’d avoid this place at all costs, unless you like people ripping you off. I sure know I’m not returning. Absolutely unacceptable. I also learned why I never went here with my dad-apparently they were mean to us 25 years ago(Same owners) and he held a grudge-which I wish he shared with me before I went here on a date!

Great service. The owners are always welcoming when I go. If you’re undecided about a flavor, they’re quick to offer you a sample. I’m not sure of Carvel sets the prices in all their stores or if they’re independently set, but the cost is a little steep. 2 vanilla cones &1 Heath Dasher cost $ 13+. The store is located on the corner in Depot Square. After you get your ice cream, you can walk over to the square center and enjoy your ice cream on the park benches.

This place is not a nice place to get ice cream. 1) The ice cream is not good. It tastes very processed and artificial. 2) The prices are very high given the portion sizes and the quality of the ice cream. 3) The store is plastered with signs about all the extra charges and rules for things. This, combined with the high prices and small portions, leaves one feeling mostly ripped off and dissatisfied.
