BEAUTIFUL BLOWN GLASS! Perhaps a piece of heaven fell on earth it would be this place. Everything is all shiny in the sun and it sparkles. When eating at Elvira’s I joked to someone in our party that the margarita glasses were probably for purchase some where close by… not only was I correct, but you can literally get up, go out of the patio and buy them… then come back.

After lunching at Elvira’s, I strolled over to this shop next door and discovered a treasure trove of the same Mexican handicrafts that adorn the restaurant. Ricardo Garcia, the man behind the counter, explained that so many guests at Elvira’s asked about buying the decorations that they decided to open a shop. I loved all the blown glass hearts, ceramics, and tin mirrors but talked myself out of trying to bring some back to California in my carry-​on.
