Where to start, multiple issues with doctors, administrators and records — Long story short — my doctor gave me notes to be off work due to a suspected auto-immune issue(multiple ana positive tests) which leaves me swollen, in a lot of pain and unable to get out of bed on most days. The chart notes are not accurate, many details are missed and this was admitted by the doctor. I went into the clinic again because I fell on an unsafe stairway –I hit my head, knee and twisted my ankle — chart note says ‘I may have hit my head but did not lose consciousness” and was ignored. All symptoms are downplayed in chart notes to the point that insurance won’t cover. I have asked for my records for months, I still don’t have them even though in have signed multiple releases. I received a call yesterday asking me to sign another release. I have signed so many I have lost count! I asked the Dr. for a narrative, copies of off work notes and a list of medications so in can prove to my insurance company and my employer that I am indeed suffering and needed to be away from work… nothing. My ethics are now in question. The Dr suggests the insurance company ‘call her” and she will ‘talk to them” we all know that’s not the way things are handled. The clinic Administrator is no help at all, she actually told me that their clinic ‘may not be the right fit for me” really??? If everyone just did their job I would not have an issue. They can’t see to get anything right, however I always get the bills… and they have double billed for some things which they fixed. As of today, I am looking into legal representation.

I’ve gone through multiple primary care providers at this office, ONLY because the last one moved. They’ve all been excellent. On the occasions when I needed to be seen right away and my doctor wasn’t available, I of course just saw whoever was available, and THEY have all been excellent. The nurses and staff are wonderful. Love going here. Also love that they’re now paperless records and I can access my test results and email my doctor online!(Through a secure portal, so she’s allowed to actually respond and include medical info and such.)

I have been going to this doctor’s office in one form or another for 18 years. The staff is friendly, the blood was drawn quickly. Nurses with stretched earlobes, and I have to coolest doctor in the world. Not only does he want to solve the problems rather than fix the symptoms, he is a snappy dresser. Hopefully my insurance doesn’t change and make me find a new doctor’s office.
