Great quality products and amazing, patient, knowledgable staff; what more does a man need. Super clean and enjoyed speaking with the other patrons who had frequented the place more often and gave me some great grilling advice. Feels good to support a local spot with kind peeps.

I’d like to review them but today was the second time I’ve gone there during their posted business hours and they were closed. Sorry Dude, but you can keep your meat! I have better things to do than waste my time. Showed up today, Sunday at 4:30. Sign says Wednesday through Sunday 9:00 — 6:00. Never will go back.

Always drive by this place and finally decided to stop in. Really glad I did. Fillets, rib eye and Italian sausage were amazing. This place is really good and they are very nice people. I will be returning for sure!!!

Wuhu they are still here! This time I left with cherrywood bacon, a ribeye n more dog bones. Love that I can eat at Smokeys, pick up treats for my doggie at the pet store and some meat for myself

Im always excited when there’s a new artisan butcher shop. As someone who’s been shopping at a German butcher for years now, it’s cool to see the 2nd one pop up in the last couple years in Truckee. Small shop, small display case, some spices in a white room. The heavy machinery is in the back where a small ladder with a tiny boom box plays Led Zepplin. Got some fresh chorizo, a large porterhouse and ground chuck. Turned out to be a great meal of steak, sausage and burgers. The porterhouse roasted together with the chorizo made for an unexpected taste basting for the steak. So good. Definitely a great new business with great product
