Bought a piece of furniture at this store I was unsure would fit in with the other pieces in the room. I asked if it didn’t fit, could I get a refund? Sure, they said just pay the delivery fee. Long story short the piece didn’t fit and they refuse to credit my visa until i bought something else. Dirty.

We bought a house in Truckee last year and can’t stay away from Mountain Comfort! Tammy is so helpful and is always friendly when we come in, calling us by name and remembering details we have spoken of. The furniture we have purchased over the past 10 months is beautiful. We will have this furniture until we move or get tired of it. Fab quality and design. I need to save up some more loot so I can buy a new leather recliner my husband has been eyeing!

We bought a number of items from this store over the holidays. The selection of furnishings is outstanding. They had items that were both high-​end to other more affordable items. We got two chairs on sale that were extremely reasonable.
The customer service was great and I would definitely recommend this store.

I work for a San Francisco interior design firm, and we were recently installing a couple of projects in Tahoe when we discovered that we were short a couple of box springs. I called Mountain Comfort in the morning, and they had what we needed in stock and transferred from their warehouse in less than 30 minutes.
The service was thorough and friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Have come here to buy furnishings for 2 homes in Truckee over the past 7 years. They have been nothing but extremely helpful in pricing, delivery and locating harder to find items as well placing special orders.
They order a lot of their furniture from USA manufacturers and NOT cheap Chinese junk.
I just placed a new order for many items both from the store, from their warehouse and special made-​to-​order items and they were extremely helpful on all of it including pricing.
**Also, they do not sell hot tubs. Mountain Home Center on Brockway does. So it’s unfortunate that person who left the bad review left in 11⁄11 didn’t double-​check their facts/​business name first.**
