My wife and I started planning out wedding this spring, with our wedding day in July. We had most of plans in place but had not yet found the right photographer. A mutual friend told us about Emily Dettling so I gave her a call. She was very friendly and helpful answering my questions. She was also very flexible about providing us what we were looking for.
Being a professional photographer myself, I asked her a lot of technical questions including equipment used, post production techniques, etc. I quickly gained a respect for how she operates her business. She asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted and needed from her. She offers a wide range of end products including beautiful bound photo albums. Her pricing was very competitive and I feel like we got a lot for our money. She was very prepared for the event. We ran into her at the venue the day before at the exact time of the event so she could get the lighting and sun/​shadow angles right.
I would definitely recommend Emily as a wedding and event photographer.
