This place closed over the summer of 2012. Found out in the fall when my snowmobile wasn’t there!
The location has been taken over by Pioneer Marine & Powersports. These guys are nice, some of the same folks from Thin Air. Give ‘em a shot.

No go for 530!
Was happy to find 530 Motorsports after Thin Air Sports closed their shop in Truckee, but that is where the enthusiasm stops.
First clue on our initial visit was a customer requesting a partial refund for damage sustained to his vintage bike by their mechanics. But we went ahead and had our dirt bike repaired only to find that parts were missing and damaged when we got it back. We were unable to ride the bike, took it back to have everything made right and were accused by the shops owner that we took off the parts and created the damage. Unbelievable. Bad service, (multiple calls just to reach someone), terrible mechanical repair and no way to treat a customer. Do yourself a favor and drive to Reno!
