Downtown Troy has so much more atmosphere than some other locations. I love love love their chocolate and their coffee is pretty good too. The groupons however seem to be for the dayton more-warehouse styled locations but its a trade off. Their baristas don’t seem to be quite as consistent as Boston Stoker or Starbucks, but they make some pretty good drinks. If you go often enough, you can remember who does a great job! Pick up some holiday chocolates? Go back right after to see if you can enjoy a clearance January santa? Valentines for you in march? Yum is all I can say.

Coffee and chocolate are always a good combination. This little shop in the historic area of downtown Troy is a great place to get both. We found the storefront to have a vintage appeal and was attractive on the interior as well. We went in to get chocolates to take home. I had a dark roast coffee while there, which was nicely done. We certainly found plenty of goodies to take home. The prices were not cheap but were not out of line. If you are in downtown Troy and are in the mood for a coffee or a treat, this a good choice.

Winan’s is one of those must-stops in Troy. They’ve got a wide selection of coffees, chocolates, and other local goods. Their coffee bar selection is all over the map, but I still enjoy just the basic cup of Joe the best, especially as a backdrop for a few pieces if their handmade candies. Their décor could stand a little warmth, so we often just grab our goodies to go and find a bench on the square. A solid 4-stars!

Chocolates are good. Service is slow at times. I called a few times to place a large order for my wedding. I’m talking 200 pieces of custom made chocolates. A manager called me back after a couple of calls I made to the store. But, the chocolatier has never called me back. I went to a competitor who gladly filled my order with gorgeous, delicious chocolate.

Best coffee in Troy! The only coffee shop I know that offers coconut milk and almond milk as non-diary alternatives. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere.

quirky place, a bit of a coffee shop feel than a chocolate boutique Great homemade chocolates, a tiny bit steep but worth it, get the peanut butter smidgens avoid the chocolate strawberry frappé it was tasty but they missed the essential strawberry part and it basically tasted like a java chip

Fantastic! Great variety of flavors for those who like flavored Lattes(like myself), dairy milk alternatives(soy, almond, and I believe coconut too), are always willing to answer my questions(does that new syrup have dairy in it, can I read the ingredients on that please), and have FANTASTIC customer service! Not to mention several brewed coffees daily, a great selection of whole bean and ground beans to chose from(roasted locally), and oh, by the way, TONS of great chocolate — way better than that other stuff out there. Try it!

The coffee is ok. The last time I went in, and ordered a cup of their brewed coffee, it was burned tasting. If there is someone competent at the counter, I can usually get a good mocha, but I have had them with a layer of grounds on the bottom or just plain not made right. They are usually pretty slow. I have had the occasional good coffee there.

Coffee is good, never have bought any of the other delicacies, would rather save the $$.
