This place is pretty awesome. It is also known as Old Troy Cemetery and it is very old; there are people from the American Revolution and the War of 1812 buried here. Some of the grave markers were placed long before the vegetation grew and you will find entire family plots in the boarding trees and plants. There is also a beautiful vantage point of the Poestenkill. The gravel roads are fairly well kept and walking is easy. Mayor Pawling is buried here(the first mayor of Troy).
