I love the store, but every time you walk in the door, you’re hounded by a sales clerk. I don’t usually need help unless I ask. They appear desperate and it makes for an uncomfortable experience.

This is the place to go if you live in Troy only if you don’t feel like making the drive all the way to Mid Rivers Mall. Sometimes they have some okay sales but their prices are much higher compared to the exact same thing in other stores like Charlotte Russe, Body Central etc. The staff is very friendly however they ask you every 2 – 3 minutes on the dot how you’re doing, if you’re okay… I understand that they are trying to give good customer service but I have to bite my tongue to keep from screaming«Leave me alone and let me shop!» It gets very annoying. Not a bad place all together.

I’ve been to a Maurices once before when I was visiting my mom. They seem to be a small town thing. This store is cool. I really liked the guy working there. He wasn’t pushy and he talked to me about movies instead of trying to get me to buy all their clothes. That was nice! Even the cashier who was well into her 9th month of pregnancy, couldn’t have been nicer! I couldn’t respect her more! I got some super cute bermuda shorts and a very pretty longer style yellow striped tube top. I can’t wait for summer to come to St. Louis! They were having a special deal of buy any top or bottom and get the 2nd ½ off. I would rather have buy one get one free(of course!), but a deal is a deal and I can appreciate that! They have really cute clothes and they have sizes from 1 – 24. They also have a punch card where if you spend $ 250, you get $ 10 off. That seems like it would take forever to get to that, but I don’t live by any of these stores and have used my punch card twice in 5 years. If you lived close, I’m sure it would add up quickly! I still think it’s silly to have to spend $ 250 to get $ 10 off, but again, better than nothing!
