I shop here from time to time, and so far, it’s a okay. I really like their prepared foods counter, as they have a great selection of items to choose from. Sometimes it gets a little backed up and the wait can be tedious, but overall nothing horrible. They have some staple items here like spinach pies, chicken, and a few others, and they rotate seasonally prepared dishes as well. Meat counters nice with a good selection of items. I think I’ve gotten smoked salmon from here before, but I don’t see it every time I go. The fish is previously frozen, but looks good and fresh. Most items are well stocked and prices are somewhat reasonable. I like getting my fresh items from here, like veggies, meat and the such since I like the quality. Some items are priced a bit high, but if you catch them on sale its much easier on the pocket book. Service is fine, overall a decent experience for a grocery store. Not my favorite place to shop, but not the worst by any means. Definitely part of the regular short list of places to shop in the area.

Kroger should be very proud of this particular Kroger location! I have the option of 6 other Kroger stores to go to that are«near» my home, as well as countless of the competitors. I will NEVER switch from this Kroger. It’s unbelievably clean at all times, the fresh produce is always stocked and it looks great. Some bruising on the fruits, but nothing unexpected or intolerable. My favorite part of the store is the deli/cheeses/bakery/olive bar section at the back. It’s very classy-looking and is always clean(no random pieces of food laying on the floor, etc). I’m very serious about being in a clean environment. You should be very proud of the environment you’ve created! The only«complaint» I have is that the price on the pump and the price on the sign above the fuel station is never the same as the sign listing the fuel prices as you walk into the actual Kroger store. It’s usually only a few cents, but it’s very frustrating and confusing. Please fix this.

«Like a dog returns to its vomit, a foolish man repeats his mistakes.» I bought a bag of cheese puffs, got home, and noticed they had expired about 3 months ago. I hope this Kroger is sitting on top of a giant sinkhole and it falls in some day. I hate this store, it’s the pits.

This is a pretty standard Kroger. The food is usually decent, although I stay away from the bags of onions, since one time I saw a stock guy replacing them amid SWARMS of fruit flies. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again. Also, the rotisserie chicken guy is a grump — they have a policy that if they don’t have one ready for you when you’re there between certain hours, you get a coupon for a free one. Well, they were out and when I requested my coupon he told me since they had fried chicken, I wouldn’t get a free rotisserie chicken(not interchangeable in my book!). So I went to customer service and the polite woman there gave me my coupon. Set-up is basic, prices are okay if you have your Kroger card. They did just build a gas station and the prices are surprisingly competitive. Since this place is on my way home from work, I’m always stopping in to get stuff for dinner, but if I had my choice I’d probably go to the one on Maple Rd in B’ham.

Let’s just put it this way. I live just a block away from this Kroger and I refuse to shop here unless there’s an emergency. The aisles are too tight, it’s never stocked appropriately, and a couple of their regular checkout ladies(which I always end up with!) are some of the worst examples of human excrement I have ever had the displeasure to meet. I wish I was exaggerating, but I’m not. If I could give this place zero stars, it would still be too many.

I’ve got to say, this is probably one of the worst Kroger’s ever. I’ve stopped by this Kroger a couple of times recently due to construction detour on my way home from work. I have yet to make it through the produce department without coming to a dead end from a pallet jack or random pile of boxes. A couple of times I’ve been completely blocked in aisles from other rude customers refusing to move their carts for me. There is also high traffic near the soup and olive bars where the customers think they are at Old Country Buffet and ‘sample’ bowls of food. The cashiers are very rude to their special needs bagger counterparts. Have a heart people! The only good quality of this store is the outstanding cheese selection. There is always a generous sample of a delicious cheese… if you can fight the crowd to get one.

So, I was there last night taking back cans. They have good machines for this. On the other hand, the soap at the handwashing station is the worst. Its very thick and smells. That’s what she said. I haven’t been able to get the noxious odor off. The kid with the white laces and combat boots wasn’t there. Nor was the lady who made fun of me the last time I was trying to cash in a coinstar ticket. «No, you have to take to desk. There’s a big sign! Maybe you not see.» Yeah yeah. Anyway. I rarely walk away from this Kroger with out something to say about the experience. I’ve only recently stopped ranting about the time that I was taking cans back and they wouldn’t except the extra change so that I could get a whole ten instead of $ 9.70 back. Normally I wouldn’t ever go back to an establishment that so infuriates its costumers, as they don’t deserve my custom. For some reason this Kroger gets away with it. I guess its not like the one at Long Lake and Livernois is any better. There I was not allowed to by beer with an ID that had expired days earlier. I look very old and the ID was at least a valid expired one. The manager said it was policy. I told him that I had policies too, and that he better have someone keep an eye on me as I leave. I just wanted the attention.

I bought some green pasta salad here. It tasted like sausage. An old woman gave me a fork and I drove to the parking lot of a plastic surgery spa to eat it. I think there was cheese? Whatever.
