K-​Plate is a food cart located at the corner of 15th Street and Peoples Avenue north of the RPI campus. The menu is simple offering 3 Korean BBQ plates between $ 6-​$ 7 and cold drinks ($ 1 each). K-​Plate provides a tasty alternative to the same old food options near the RPI campus.
I stopped by here on a cold wintery afternoon for lunch. I ordered the Hot Plate ($ 6) which had spicy BBQ sirloin beef (spicy bulgogi) over white rice and chopped lettuce on the side, packed quickly in a round foil container. The BBQ beef was pretty spicy tasting as expected and the portion of food was just right. I will make a small suggestion which I think kimchi (my favorite ingredient) would definitely enhance the food.

My experience with K-​Plate was very good! The food was great, cheap, and convenient! I would definitely recommend to any college student who’s looking for great food for a great price! Would definitely recommend the K-​plate. It has a very good proportion of rice and meat and vegetables!
