It’s rare to have a true games store that’s not just video games, and Foam Brain makes the experience as enjoyable as you would think. A lot of these shops focus only on the collectable card genre, and those games are present too, but balanced by an ample collection of other games and products. The staff is welcoming and friendly. (One day, when walking Jude, our dog, the entire store came out to pet him. So Jude also gives a five paws review.),
The store has tables to play games and run events. Check out their calendar on their website for details. As of now, they are running D&D and Pathfinder, MTG, YuGiOh, Fantasy Flight Games, and Cardfight Vanguard.

Awesome place — go there pretty much every week for Friday night magic. Staff is really friendly, as are all the people who come to play. Also have a whole back wall of demos, board games and card games. Plenty of space to play, and a whole lot of unique game.

Great store! Great staff! Friendly people! Lots of in store games to play. Lots of great games on the shelves. (Both things that you’re looking for and unique things.)
I just picked up a nice box of dice for $ 5.50, and some reaper minis which were around $ 2 each. Cheaper than I find at stores in my area.
They also make some amazing dice, pins, flasks and other goodies! I’ve supported several kick starters by them, too.
I love to stop in when I’m in troy.
