Great place to get a haircut. It’s the old style hair cutting place where they would use instead of clippers, scissors and half blade. They have started offering hair cutting service for women as well. When there ask for Joe or Carl. Very reasonable $ for a decent haircut. They are also good with kids. They always have the right sports game on for me

Would not recommend.
All I wanted was a good haircut, pay for it, tip the barber, and leave. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, yes, yes this is too much to ask for at Bosco Barber Shop.

Great job Randy is great at flat. Too trimmed my beard and eyebrows !!! No up charge and very fast !! I drive all over the country and I’m definitely dropping a pin here. I’ll be back when I’m in town. The other barbers there seam very accomplished as I observers skill there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone .

My husband has been to several barbers in the area. He never seems happy with his hair or they cut it good once then the next time her returns it looks bad. He starting going to Bosco about a year ago and has been happy each time he gets his haircut. Nice convenient location.

Royal Oak, MI
One of the longest standing barbershops in metro Detroit. I’ve been going there since 1992 and always got a great fade/​cut from Jimmy who unfortunately just retired (I’m literally frowning). I will now have to switch to Carl who is known as one of the best barbers in town. I’ve seen him give countless haircuts over the years and his client list must be a few hundred deep.
They are located in the Oakland Mall so it’s always fun to get a quick bite or go shopping afterwards. This is an old school, classic barbershop and they get the job done well. Saturday mornings get busy so I usually go on a weekday and don’t have to wait long, if at all. Price is $ 13 but they deserve a big tip ;-)

Exactly what a simple barber shop should be. A bunch of seasoned men cutting simple hair.
I started coming here many years ago and have never looked back. Plan of attack is you take first available barber, but of course you’re welcome to wait for your preferred barber. When they ask you to have a seat just let him know I’d like to wait for ‘so and so’.
I always get my haircut by Randy, he can blend like the best of them, and can do anything from traditional cuts to faux hawk. I’ve had my haircut by other gentleman as well, and they’ve never had a problem interpreting what I’m saying and what I’m looking for. If you’re not sure exactly what you want they’ll offer some suggestions and cut it on the long side so you can see and then you can work it in /​shorten it from there.
Prices are 12 dollars for mens cut. Not all barbers work all days, so call the day of to see if your preferred barber is in, and when he will be there until.
