The girl at the counter was very pleasant and courteous. What I didn’t like was the fact that she quoted me $ 6.99 for a coat and 2 other coats for $ 7.99 each(which I paid up front), only to get a call the next day from the manager telling me I had to pay an additional $ 25.00 or so! They had made a mistake — according to the management and were not willing to absorb any of it. Very poor business decision in my opinion. So now I’m being charged $ 24.99 for 1 coat that I had cleaned at a different cleaners last year for $ 19.99(had to pull the receipt to remember.) So not only is the management charging me MUCH more than I had paid, they are OVER-CHARGING me compared to others in the area. Very disappointing. Don’t expect this to be cheap even though the name implies it should be.

I have never written a review about a service provided to me or a product I purchased. However, I felt it necessary to comment on the quality of service I received at 2.25 cleaners. I have been a customer for approximately eight months and I have received nothing but excellent service. This alone did not warrant my rating of this cleaners. What does is the fact that I recently moved to Pennsylvania with my wife and I forgot to pick up my clothes before driving ten hours to my new home. I called and she asked for my address and she went out of her way to have my clothes shipped to my new address. I was taken aback by her kindness and her willingness to put my mind at ease(the value of my clothes was over six hundred dollars). She, and 2.25 Cleaners deserve nothing but success and prosperity in their future! Jim

This is the second dry cleaners I’ve tried that doesn’t take credit cards… ARGH…so automatically one less star for that. I mean, really, who doesn’t take credit cards these days? That said, it is as cheap as the name implies – my total for two items was $ 4.50 and that gets a big thumbs up.(Of course, that was just a man’s pants and shirt and I haven’t taken any women’s stuff there yet…) So, I guess for the cheap price, I can mange to have cash ready. Be aware that the sign/decal on the window says something to the effect of «$ 2.25 each item prepaid» so I thought maybe that price was only if you prepaid… but once I got in and was flailing for my checkbook and trying to count out quarters(I never carry cash), the nice woman said I could pay when I picked the clothes up. I asked for the total(assuming it would be higher) and she kinda looked at me like«Duh, we’re $ 2.25 Cleaners» but smiled and told me $ 4.50. Cool. I told her I would need them [in three days] and she said they would be ready the next day after 5. Cool. They do advertise same-day service but since I haven’t needed that, I am not sure if the $ 2.25 holds for that as well. I may just have found our new cleaners… YAY!
