Carolina Wood Fence

I am not impressed. We asked for split rail on our sides, with a more traditional slatted fence in the front. They put split rail in the front & when I told them that was wrong, they (somewhat hesitantly) fixed it, but it looks like they used scraps to finish the fence. The fence has odd parts in some areas, they left barcode tags on ALL of the slats, they left a mess when they were done. We asked for high posts so we could cap them, but instead they gave us short posts with ONE high post (which can’t be fixed because the gate/​door is attached to it). They also curved the top of the fence, but messed up a little, leaving a lttle cut mark. We’ve had the fence a year & a half (just writing the review now because I’m new to Unilocal) and the gate/​door is warped and part of the fence falling off/​becoming unattached. The workers blamed some of the problems on the father & son’s (the bosses) lack of communication.

These guys were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They explained my options to me clearly and discussed ways to work around some tricky terrain on our property where trees had started growing through the existing fence. The crew arrived promptly at our home the day work commenced and they were professional and friendly during their entire time on our property. Looking at the work itself, the fence is absolutely perfect. The posts along each side of the fence are in perfect alignment and it is clear that there was a meticulous attention to detail when this work was performed. The new fence gives our home some much-​need privacy and curb appeal and I look forward to working with Carolina Wood Fence again in the future. I give them the highest recommendation without hesitation.

Mike and his crew were extremely helpful with helping me choose the right fence for my yard. Their prices were very competitive (I did shop around some) and they did excellent work. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them!
