Yesterday I had my hair cut by Kayla. I had a really great experience and wanted to share it here in case you’re looking for a stylist. I get really nervous when I get haircuts, but Kayla put me right at ease. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to really enjoy her job. She gave me a great shampoo, put beautiful layers in my long, fine, hair, and then took the time to style it. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great haircut.

Brooke does my hair. She always does an amazing job with my cuts and has done great on friends’ colors. The shop itself is cute, fun, and friendly! All of the services are very affordable and very professional.

Another thing that I love is the color. When I went in I was a little unsure as to what i wanted for color but she sat with me with the options and what would look best with my eyes. We found one and she nailed it!

Amy Davis has been making me beautiful for years and I recommend her and her staff to anyone who ever needs salon services. Appointments are always available, even on short notice. The salon is decorated wonderfully and is always clean.
Lady Locks participates every month on First Friday in downtown Troutdale, too. It’s just fun there and the prices are excellent.

Lady locks is a full service salon that offers a wide range of services. I have been going Kristi for waxing, facials and spray tans for years. Kristi is great lets face it getting a brazilian wax is not a very pleasant experience but she is very easy going and makes you comfortable during the whole process. She’s perfected the process and I’m in and out in less then a half an hour and does a very good job. She is also very good at eyebrow waxing. I had an eyebrow mishap and she spent months reshaping them to my liking. I really like the stripless wax she uses. I have been waxed both ways and feel that it gets the job done better then any other way. I have recommended Kristi to my friends and will continue to do so!
I’ve had my hair done by Amy she’s great! Nails it every time. It’s hard to find someone who can make you love getting your hair done and even more love it right off the bat. She’s very professional and is great at what she does. The prices are very reasonable and it’s always a lovely experience.

I’ve gone to this salon for a facial and a haircut, and I am extremely happy with both. Their esthetician, Rachel, gave me one of the best facials I’ve ever had. I have very oily skin and she cooked up a balanced treatment that attended to extractions and build-​up without making my face feel stripped – not an easy task in my experience. She was full of helpful tips on adjusting my regimen and was the ONLY esthetician I’ve ever encountered who didn’t try to push the entire line of high-​end products on me; instead, she was honest about which types of products to spring for and which could be procured affordably at Target. She also gave me an excellent eye brow wax: fast, (mostly) painless, and looking great. My skin glowed for days. The ultimate litmus test is my husband remarking on how good my skin and brows looked before I told him I’d just hit the salon.
Brittany cut my hair. I’d been growing it out for two years and it was an ungodly mess. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it besides trim the dead ends and cut some layers to frame my face, so I gave her those details and she ran with it. She cut the split ends off but kept the length, adding longer layers in the back for shaping and shorter layers in the front. She straightened it afterwards and it looked great, but it also looks good after my normal, lazy, «tousle with product and run» routine. Yaye versatility! She’s also very nice and easy-​going, so the experience was a pleasurable one. Finally, she was detail-​oriented without taking a million years.
The shop is cute and fun with tasteful décor, featuring chandeliers, cool teal walls, and black-​and-​white photo prints of film stars from the 40’s and 50’s. This salon has its own vibe, no boring earth tones or overwhelming femme pinks and «You are a Goddess» plaques. It’s funky and individualistic, but not cluttered or trying too hard. Women of different ages and tastes will feel comfortable here. I’d venture to say that because of the laid-​back atmosphere, many men will, too.
Lastly: their price list includes less-​expensive options for those of us who want to indulge without breaking the bank. A basic trim without shampoo costs $ 15 – for women’s cuts. I’ve never found that price option at a salon. They don’t do ridiculous mark-​ups on the products they sell, either.
