Stayed here for 2 nights last week. Lovely family, clean room and delicious breakfast. Would surely stay here again.

We recently stayed a few nights to check out Bryce Canyon etc. and thought this was a nice place. The room was comfy, the bathroom was a good size, they had extra blankets in the room, the room had a ceiling fan, a mini fridge, and a small TV. The Wi-Fi password was on a sign on top of the fridge and the Internet worked fine. I agree that the walls are thin. We kept hearing running on the floor above us. The breakfasts were good. They consisted of these yummy buttermilk waffles that had a nice texture, fruit syrup, egg dishes like quiche and these little egg muffins with a mushroom sauce, a fresh fruit cup, yogurt and fixings, sausage, bread, orange juice, coffee. The hosts, Steve and Maggie, were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We checked out a couple of their suggestions such as a hike to a waterfall. The trail was called Calf Creek, 6 miles round trip, moderate. After the hike, we stopped at this cool unexpected café nearby called Kiva Koffeehouse, which had healthy organic lunch items, desserts, great coffee, plus jewelry and other stuff. As for the town of Tropic where the b&b is located, there aren’t many places to eat but there is one fine dining place called Stone Hearth that had great food and an awesome view. There’s also a trail nearby that goes into Bryce Canyon, which we decided to walk after failing to win the lottery for the full moon hike. Overall, we had a great time. The place was nice, their food was good, the location was convenient to Bryce Canyon and other points of interest.

I agree with the other reviewer that the check in procedures leaves a lot to be desired. The personalized note left on my door stated the wifi password was left on my nightstand and there was no wifi password left which meant no internet since they are in a remote area. This place runs upwards of $ 170 per night and my recommendation would be to stay elsewhere where the establishment actually does what they should do and what they said they did. Nice place otherwise.

No control over room temperature, ultra thin walls led to hearing other guests every move, and luke warm check-in procedure in which we weren’t even made aware of the hot tub or any common areas that we could use during our too long, two night stay
