Jersey Mike’s Subs

I have to say this place is pretty good for a Florida sub place. Actually, it’s probably the best Italian sub I’ve had in Florida… as they’re pretty hard to come by. Yes of course I’m from Jersey… but I’ve been spoiled by Lotitos!
Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I had the classic Italian. Just enough meat and your choice of toppings which the young lady piled on to my liking, including hot peppers. Not sure why they spell cappacola… cappacuolo though. I mean it’s called Jersey Mikes… so they should know how to spell it! lol
I’m going back to THIS location for sure.

Moved to the area this summer after living the Jersey sub dream living just outside of Atlantic city. Mike’s nails it with the fresh sliced meat prefect bread and drenched your sub perfectly with oil and vinegar.

I was on my way back to Fleming Island, FL and stopped in for a mini Italian to-​go and I finally was able to eat it a ways down and it was AMAZING!!! Thank you for an awesome drive back while I was indulging my mini Italian.
I would recommend this spot to all my friends in New Port Richey. Am still hoping they will build one in NPR, as it is a hump driving back and forth but worth it!!!

Having grown up in Belmar, NJ and eaten at the Original Mike’s Subs. Got a little nostalgia seeing this place and wanted to try it. Maybe it’s just this location but. The quality and taste is a long way from Jersey. The bread was the best thing, very soft and delicious. My family and I are still looking for the meat and cheese. My sub looked really good, but was more lettuce, onion and tomato than anything. Like a sub salad. The Mike’s Way red wine vinegar and oil with spices was like the original and «old school». Other than that, im gonna try a different location. Even though nothing will ever compare to Mike’s in Belmar, NJ from the neighborhood where we all knew each other and we would get the «hook up», they knew your sub before you ordered it and you felt like you were eating with Family.

When I know this place is along my service route, I will wait to eat lunch. Such great subs, friendly staff. Subway doesn’t compare to this place. Fyi, JM’S subs are always the same size, not 4″ one day then 5″ the next. The bread is amazing, Mikes way is the best way, try it out. You won’t regret it!

Never been until my Granddaughter requested a sub for school lunch as we pinkie sweared to eat lunch together at least once a week! She wanted a meatball sub. I decided on making my own with turkey ham provolone and lots of veggies! The only standard I had in these types of subs was Subway. To be honest, i have to say they rate about the same, satisfyingly delicious! I tasted G’s meatball sub (after explaoning I had to review it for Unilocal!A 10 min. Unilocal 101 commenced!) Their cookies were decent! G had a chcolate chip, I had my fave, oatmeal raisin!
Been back since this first time and split an Italian with G. Had to ask for her take…“Love the Salami & Pepperoni, Pops!” Next time, that’s all I want on Italian bread!” I’m so proud… G’s unofficial first Unilocal Review!

I eat here once or twice a week. The staff is friendly and the food always tastes great. I get the steak n cheese every time I love it.

Best subs! Fresh cut meats. All fresh veggies! Go there at least twice a week. Love it!!!

This location recently open up near my work. The place has a clean new feeling to it. I usually get a steak and cheese sandwich. I eat here when I am in a rush and need to pick something up really quick.
I am glad they open up the store near work since there isnt really much to eat around here. The staff is friendly and cook the hot subs pretty quick.

Everything about this place is good. Nothing fancy. Nothing lacking either. Best place to get subs in the area.

Decent chain sub shop. They have wheat bread if you ask for it. Owner is on top of things and has a decent staff, especially for younger kids. Worth a try!

I’ve seen these Jersey Mike places popping up around the Tampa Bay area. Most things that have Jersey attached to them generally turn my stomach but this sandwich shop surprised me.
I’m not a sandwich guy. I rarely crave stuff stuck between bread. On this day however it was requested of me to pick up lunch from here on my way home.
I ordered the chicken parm sub. I have to tell you… it was impressive for a chain restaurant. The bread was actually what caught my attention the most. It wasn’t typical, bland white bread. It was warm, soft and really good.
I’m looking forward to trying these sandwiches again. That bread is so good! Point to you Jersey… Point to you…

I am glad they are getting closer to where I live. At least I don’t have to drive to Tampa for a great sub! I had a half an Italian sub and it was superb!!! Now come and build one in Spring Hill!!!

Jersey mikes is the best sub shop around. Subs use fresh meats and condiments, service is quick and friendly. There is no comparison to Subway in terms of quality. Sure Mikes costs a little more but you get what you pay for.

Nice and clean looking, but of course they just opened. I ordered a hot Grilled Pastrami Ruben, the sandwich was good and served quickly. Prices seem more expensive then subway across the street, a regular sub which is about the size of a subway 6 inch cost the same as a subway full sub. Otherwise I enjoyed it.
