Couldn’t imagine any of what the first reviewer said has any truth judging from my personal experience at this sub shop. The staff here are awesome and truly care about making you a bomb sub. They never skimp you on anything and truly have 100x the quality of Subway for a slightly higher price. All the breads and meats are super high quality and the vegetables are always fresh. I have never seen the restaurant dirty despite being part of a gas station. A+ on all fronts. After writing this review I believe I will be in tomorrow for a club.

This is a great place to get a very good sandwich at a very reasonable price. Trinidad does not have a lot of selections for restaurants but if you want something fast and don’t want the usual fast food options, Whistle Stop is a great option. I give them 5 stars for quality, price and service!

I have attempted to enjoy this sub shop on five occasions — each a bad experience.
I like to support local businesses but this business, just like 80% of Trinidad businesses, are relying on the «suckers» passing through town, so won’t invest in customer service or logical business practices (like actually being open on weekends or past 4 PM). no wonder this town isn’t thriving, it’s because of bad service and trying to double charge at places like the Sub shop at Whistle Stop.
Don’t go– they tried to charge for two sandwiches when it was one sandwich with a different meat. It was a walk-​out and their last chance.
