I went in for a quick meal and ordered menudo. the food is good but after watching the tattooed cook pour my meal back into the pot so he could extend it by serving me a more watered down version was extremely me and I will never go back. welcome to Trinidad!

Great coffee, fast service, and delicious breakfast! Tony’s is open early unlike a lot of eateries in downtown Trinidad so this is a great place to stop if you’re on a road trip or need to be up early.

First of all, I’ll admit I understand why anyone would give this diner a one-star. The food is marginal, at best. Once I got a macaroni dinner with garlic bread, and the bread itself were two hot dog buns. It was laughable! I’ve had breakfast a couple of times. Their hashbrowns are slimy from being less-cooked. They do have a good breakfast burrito, and their open-faced chile burger(with red or green) ain’t bad. All in all, I’d say consider this a basic no-frills diner with pretty good service usually. It’s an unpretentious restaurant — a good option if you want to meet with a friend and have some grub. Oh lastly, Tony is often on the premises. He may come over and chat with you about your meal or whatever else. Nice guy, he is. :)

A great place for breakfast. They do a nice traditional breakfast and the bacon is always crispy!

Excellent beef and meatball sandwich, waitress was attentive. Owner came out to talk to us and make sure everything was great. Can’t complain.

The gyros meat on the sandwich wasn’t even fully heated. Usually it has a brown crust around the edges. Not here. Fries were greasy and terrible. Surprised I didn’t get sick. They weren’t even that busy when I stopped for pick-up. I can’t see why this place would ever be busy.

Classic Cheeseburger that comes w fries for $ 3.99! Yummy. And we sat at the counter where the main item was an open hamburger with pork chili poured over then topped with fries! They offered a taste of the pork chili and wow it is so full of flavor with little color or beauty;) busy and fun atmosphere

We’re sat for 25 min with no drinks or a menu. The service is horrible! Our food came 50min later. We watched as at least 10 people walked out for lack of service. The food was disgusting and cold. I’m refusing to leave any tip. Save your money and time! Horrible experience I will never come back! This deserves a negative 10 score.

Not sure how this place got 5 stars! We just had a horrible breakfast here…1st of all I ordered sausage and they did not have any have any so I then chose bacon and asked it to be cooked crisp and when my plate came to the table the bacon was a slushie looking mass so I asked for it to be recooked and when they brought it back I looked at it and realized it is not really bacon —it was ham! So when I questioned the waitress she said oh that is home made capicola we didn’t have any bacon well if I would have wanted ham I would have ordered ham!!! the eggs were under done the White was still quite runny which I find very yukky and the potatoes were inedible they were kind of gray in color and just very off putting. they had a really weird taste so my husband and I did not eat any of the potatoes at all… the only redeeming feature about the whole breakfast was the pancakes and those were ok… if it were possible to give it a minus 2 stars I would but since I have to rate I am giving it only one star– under duress

Family food. Excellent service. Accidentally came upon this café, so glad we drove to the east side of town.
