The park has a nice layout and wonderful coin operated showers, if you are on the RV side. Only a few shaded spots.
If you camp in the no electric tent area it is a barren dessert with port o johns.
The best thing about this place is that you can see and touch the KT Line! Dinosaur extinction line for all who don’t know. Anyway, the only other place to see it in N. America is in Canada.
During summer the place is very hot. But the nights cool down tremendously and star gazing is amazing.
