Royse’s Black Jacks Steakhouse

Atmosphere is worth a visit. Great place for an after work beverage or a steak dinner. This is a meat and potatoes kinda place, so not great for vegans or vegetarians. Can be busy and crowded, so get thier early.

I recently moved to this area and, of course, my first thing to do is look for exciting and new places to eat. I was not let down at Royse’s Black Jacks Steakhouse! The New York steak was good, cook perfectly and the hominy was to die for.
If you are looking for a good steak and are in the area or just traveling through, stop in Royse’s and have a meal.
PS — Had the Azul Margarita… VERY tasty!

My family ate here when we went thru for my step daughter’s graduation. This was a newly opened restaurant with a new staff who where still learning But I must say we were so glad we stopped here. Mrs. Royse was monstrously kind. We were all very tired from driving for 13 hours and she just made us feel like family. The bartender sent over *PICK ME UPS* «non alcoholic» fun drinks to my kidos on the house. They were excited! Mrs. Royse personally made my daughter something she requested not on the menu. WHERE’S THE BEEF, WOW!!! STEAK AND BRISKET YUM YUM!!! MY SON HAD SHRIMP CA BOB LOVE… AND I HAD SALMON STEAK SALAD «should have it’s own patent». Mr. Royse invited us downstairs to show us the 2^nd bar, an amazing space to have an event! DESERT well we had a sample of it all, it was simply sinful not to, Lol. This was an Upscale restaurant with a down home feel! We appreciated this Refuge from our long traveling so much we stopped back by on our way out to have dinner and the kids brought Mrs. Royse red roses. Yes it was a new place where the servers were still learning But the food rocked and the owners were far from rude. And as far as the bar «Jeremy» made me several amazing signature drinks. Highly recommended!!!

First time here and my meal was fantastic my steak was done just right. The service was friendly and very attentive without being annoying. I would highly recommend this place when in town I know I will eat here ever time I come to town.
