Didn’t know what to expect when we decided to go here. The restaurant was a little smaller than I expected, but decorated with cool, old items. The food was AMAZING! My husband had the Tex Mex burger with a loaded baked potato as a side. My mom had a small sausage pizza and I had Pigs ‘N a Skin. Holy cow! I am not a big fan of pulled pork, but these were fantastic. Huge servings on everything too. We had some deep fried pickles as an appetizer and they were so good. I would HIGHLY recommend trying them out if you’re going by Trimble. Great service and the prices weren’t bad at all. Mike Ballard’s mom was in here eating while we were there so you know the food is good. Can’t imagine she’d eat there if it wasn’t. When I need some Moonshine again from Full Throttle Distillery, we will definitely be eating here.

Step back in time at this quaint little spot in Trimble, TN. We drove up to check it out and we were glad we did. We were seated and our server/manager Elizabeth told us immediately that the air was out but men were working on getting it repaired and that hopefully everything would be working soon. She offered us free dessert on the house for the inconvenience. I ordered my grandson a chocolate milkshake and oh my goodness, it was presented beautifully. The shake was made from real ice cream and included lots of whip cream and even a cherry on top. I ordered the prime burger with fries and it was delicious, one of the tastiest burgers I have had in awhile. My friend had the Chicken Monterey with a baked potato. I tried a bite and it was good, the mushrooms are canned and not fresh and that might bother some people but I like both so I had no problem with the mushrooms. We also shared the BBQ plate that had such a large serving, I would say 12oz or so that there was plenty left for another meal. The baked beans and onion rings we nice and tasty side additions. Our free desserts which are not prepared in their kitchen, consisted of average chocolate mocha cake, very good strawberry cake with pecans, and another Devine chocolate milk shake. I took away a supreme pizza that lacks some flavor but the crust was good and with a few tweets it could become a tasty pie. The service was good and the staff friendly. They also have entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. I like listening to good music while I dine. The prices are also reasonable. I would recommend Miss Vickie’s and the prime burger as a menu choice. You won’t get a super culinary experience here but you will leave satisfied and with nostalgic memories of days gone by.
