Living in Hawaii now, you would think even the Benihana or any hibachi/sushi restaurant would be good here cause it’s Hawaii right? WRONG! The Triadelphia location of Fusion is the best location out of all of them! Sure they can be crazy busy on weekends, homecoming/prom seasons, and holidays. But Fusion is honestly the best hibachi restaurant I’ve ever eaten at and miss it dearly now that I’m not on the mainland or in WV anymore. Their specialty sushi rolls(and spicy California) are the best hands down as well!!! Food, service, and staff have always been wonderful, no matter the wait. I will always recommend them as being the best Japanese hibachi restaurant out of all I’ve been to all over the country. Definitely worth any wait time! Would rate this restaurant ten million stars if I could! I’ll always go there to eat when I’m home to visit family. Thank you Fusion for always being the best!

Over all I think going fusion is a very enjoyable experience it is very popular so there can be a reasonable wait time depending on the time and day but the food is good the staff is friendly and the chefs put on a very fun show while cooking if you don’t like semi-loud music this place might not be for you but other than that I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun Asian eating experience

Decent Restaraunt to go to, however drinks a little o. The high end esoecially when their charging you the same price for a double of whisky. Whisky is $ 6.95 might as well say $ 7.00 and if you want a double they charge you the same $ 7.00 bucks which is very rare. Normally you would be charged extra $ 2 bucks or $ 3, but not here they want you to pay full price which defeats the purpose of getting a double. Other than that food is somewhat decent. Not too many choices in the area

Gee I didn’t know shrimp could be cooked to that hardness… First off– we would have been SO easy to impress. We had been having a little mini-road trip and hadn’t had anything to eat since a bagel at 9am. 4pm and we’re ravenous. Japanese food sounded good. We arrive to two different rap/pop songs being played from two different speakers. It’s loud. But we sit. The food was below average. The waitress hovered over us like a vulture. Avoid. Listen to me, because I’m taking the time to write this all out for you.

I’m giving this place a medium rating because of a poor start. I walked in and it was crowded and busy. I ask to be seated at sushi bar. I say in front of the sushi chef for 15 minutes before someone asked to take my drink order. At that point, I was not in a good mood. But I’m guessing the saki took effect because I mellowed out on this review. Initially, I’d say the service was very poor at best. But one of the waitress noticed me sitting there with menus open. I then got a free sushi app, followed by constant service. The food was excellent but I have to demote for the initial service response especially since I was sitting directly in front of sushi chef and was perceived as being ignored. Would I return if in area again, ummmm maybe.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife and son, who was in from Michigan for Easter, on a trip to the Cabelas store across the street last night. We all really enjoy a good Japanese Hibachi and thought we would give it a try. Staff were pleasant and we were seated in 15 minutes which wasn’t bad considering it was 6:30 and the restaurant was pretty full. We all ordered the same Filet and Shrimp dinner combo, which was reasonable at $ 25.95 when compared to our normal Hibachi places, Shogun and Nakama. The chef put on an entertaining show while cooking but the music used during the presentation was obnoxious and extremely loud, seriously detracting from the overall experience. Now to the food — The soup and salad was served together and neither was what we would consider good as the soup was seriously watered down and lacking in flavor and the salad had a heavy mayonnaise flavored dressing over what appeared to be a Walmart quality salad bag lettuce. Nothing like the the Miso soup and Ginger dressing salad one would expect at a Japanese hibachi house. The steak was cooked well and was good and the shrimp was properly prepared and had decent flavor and the portion sizes were nice. The fried rice was so so and there were many chunks of totally white rice that had not been properly mixed and fried. The most disappointing part of the food prep was the vegetables as they were put on the griddle first and not served until everything else was cooked. This resulted in each of us getting an extremely small portion of overcooked, soggy and almost flavorless vegetables plopped into our plates at the end of the meal. We are giving the 2 stars based solely on the staff as the receptionist and waitress were extremely pleasant and a pleasure. With the multiple restaurant choices in the shopping area around Cabelas, we would suggest looking elsewhere for dinner if you are there and looking for a place to eat.

I lost hope in the area for good Sushi. Then we found Fusion. The food was excellent with good portions. Sushi was almost the best I’ve had and Ive had a lot of sushi. We had the Hibachi and Joe did a great job. Most of the guys around here make mistakes with a corny act. Joe was great with the kids and best Hibachi chief I’ve seen. We will travel from Wintersville often for food this good.

Went to Fusion with eight friends for my birthday party, and sat in the sushi area. Full disclosure — this was a few days before Christmas and the place was packed. Service took awhile, but that’s understandable. What ruined the experience for me is that when the food finally came, I never received mine. Everyone else was chowing down, fifteen minutes came and went, and mine never arrived. My husband and I were desperately trying to get the waiter’s attention during this time, to no avail. When we finally tracked down another waiter, he would only tell us that he would get our original waiter, which I suppose he did… ten minutes later. When our waiter finally came over, he retrieved my food from the sushi bar, where it had been sitting the whole time with minimal apology. I never complained, since the place was packed and we didn’t want to make a scene in front of our friends, but we were never offered any compensation. The wait may have been worth it for great food, but this was grocery store quality sushi… not horrible, but nothing special either.

I love this place as it is my go to place for sushi and sashimi. Never once had a bad experience. It is family friendly and appropriate for all ages. Great tasting food. What can i say more about this place. Great hibachi and drink specials.

I really enjoyed the sashimi spoons. As a matter of fact, I wish I would have ordered another round of those. Really good! The bento box I ordered was OK. It was served with tuna which I requested to be rare but instead it was over cooked and kind of hard. The other parts of the box were fine. While I was waiting for another person I ordered a drink in the bar area. The bartender there — a young, local woman with black hair — was not very friendly and seemed like she’d rather be doing anything but working there. All in all, not a 5 but not horrible either. We did NOT try the teppanyaki area, just the sushi area.

Hosted a dinner in their private room. We opted for a pre fixe all inclusive menu minus the chefs. Food was plentiful but could have been served hotter. This is just okay in my book.

Went here for an anniversary dinner and it was ok. We were seated at a table but it was so bright that we opted to have a seat at the bar and, the bartender was a sweetheart but we had to deal with some pouting hostess who really saturated the place with her unhappiness. I’m not sure what was going on in her personal life but she was poisonous, we shouldn’t have paid that much attention to her but it was hard not to in the small place provided and her general look of disgust and COMPLAINTS(yea, she complained) about the food she ordered for herself! Our food was ok but we should have sat further from the obnoxious Skrillex they kept playing over and over in the Hibachi area. We will go again but next time sit away from the bar and deal with the lights.

I was brave and tried sushi in wheeling WV in a strip mall. It was everything and less than expected. I ate as much as I could to be polite… Service was overtly friendly, if that’s your thing. I will not eat here again and understand that I am sushi snob…

Wife and I stopped in for sushi. Service was quick and attentive, edamame was overdone, sushi was decent. Smoked salmon I had was good, avocado was good, fresh salmon was edible but fishy which was disappointing. If I was stuck in the same small town I’d eat there again.

The dreamsicle martini is tasty and the bartenders are very nice. Our Chef at the big hot table was quite the showman. Not only did he preform the standard egg balancing tricks and the obligatory onion volcano, he did it all to music. It really was fun and the kids loved it. Best of all, he did not force me to try to catch a shrimp in my mouth. The food was well prepared and tasty. The sushi was great, very fresh. While this is not my favorite way to enjoy Japanese cuisine, way to much salt and butter for my taste, it keeps the young ones entertained and hopefully will be a gateway for them to try other types of Japanese and later more ethnic food as they get older. No child should grow up thinking chicken nuggets and fries are where it’s at. And bonus, free meal on your birthday(show ID) if your party is 6 or more. Score one for me!

Stopped here for lunch on trip from Pittsburgh to Columbus, and ordered the lunch special sashimi combo($ 13) with a seaweed salad($ 5). The salad was very good, but the sashimi was unimpressive. While the quality of the fish itself was okay, the simple ten-piece assortment of maguro(tuna), sake(salmon), super white tuna(escolar), and tai(snapper) was uninspiring(i.e. these are particularly cheap cuts of fish). Service was on the cold and aloof side.

Food was better than average but we were disappointed with a forced 18% gratuity on our large party. In this restaurant, a party of 10 is no more work per person than a small party since most of the cooking is done at the table. I did ask the manager to remove the charge so we could tip what we thought was appropriate and he did accommodate us. In the final analysis the food was good but the service was well below par.

I went here for a birthday dinner, we sat grill side and all ordered something different. I’m a vegetarian so I got the habachi fusion veggies with noodles. Others got habachi chicken, steak and lobster and one person in the party opted for shrimp tempura. When you order the habachi meals, a small salad and cup of clear soup comes with it(these can not be substituted). The salad was topped with a delightful creamy dressing and the«clear soup» may sound bland but its actually full of flavor. The soup consists of chicken broth(I’m not a strict vegetarian anymore), dried mushrooms, a tiny bit of egg, and scallion. On to the habachi, the chefs are really entertaining and get everyone involved. I don’t want to give anything away but the experience is amazing! You’ll laugh, you’ll holler, you’ll have a great time unless of course you’re a stick in the mud. First, the rice and noodles are prepared, then veggies, last thing on the grill is your meat so there is no cross contamination. Meat is done according to your preference and everyone was pleased with their selections. You are also given 2 dipping sauces; 1 garlic and 1 ginger… oh ginger, it makes everything taste better. The shrimp tempura was a huge portion. 4 or 5 skewers of stacked shrimp in addition to sweet potatoes, onions, green peppers, and other veggies. Everyone left with happy, satisfied bellies.

My first experience at a Japanese Steakhouse. Not bad. We had to wait quite awhile for our chef to come out which was really the only negative aspect here. Food tasted fresh and good. I really enjoyed the yellow«yum-yum sauce» that went on the seafood. The chef was pleasant and engaging. I liked the rice and noodles which are two things I normally don’t care for. We got a ton of food and left very full. I don’t have any other place to compare this to, but it was a good meal!
