The Growing Place

The Growing Place is a reliable, high-​end children’s and maternity store with quality standards of gently used clothing and children’s furnishings. In addition to selling children’s clothing for all genders and ages, Renee’s shop features clean and reliable furnishings and everything in between, such as bouncers, high chairs, swings, walkers, cribs, changing tables, and all the amenities to accompany such products. – All this at literally a fraction of retail. I can go in there any given day, get caring and thorough service, while walking out with bags full of gently used (and new) higher-​end name brand items – Ralph Lauren, Gymboree, Gap Kids, the Children’s Place, Janie and Jack, Le Petite Bateau, Talbot’s, etc. etc… these aforementioned items at just a few dollars each! I can’t even find sale items at Walmart with HALF the quality u see at The Growing Place. It’s SO worth your while to head down to Dover Park Plaza and pick up some gems for ur kids or loved ones. They also carry GREAT maternity and now even women’s clothes and bags (some authentic Coach, Juicy Couture, Vera Bradley, Michael Kors… etc.(why NOT a little something for mom?) Take my word-Renee’s store is the BEST children’s and maternity (and now women’s) consignment shop around. If u can’t find something, please feel comfortable to ask Peg or Renee and they will find whatever your request might be. This place has saved my family thousands of dollars and my kids look better than some others that shop at Ralph, Janie n jack, Crew Cuts, Gymboree, etc… give it a try-​u won’t be let down… good people busting ass to run a quality small business, and it shows!
