As far as charter buses go, this is a very good service. The school I attended grades 5 – 12 had a lot of field trips, particularly of the overnight variety, and loyally used Starr as the provider. I also took Starr to Maine and back twice. For a long time, I referred to these kinds of buses as «Starr buses.» Actually, I still do.
Regardless, I had no qualms recommending their services to a co-​worker who wanted to arrange for a bus from LI to Spring Lake, NJ for her son’s wedding.

Horrible experience!!! They overbooked and we were late to our show. Will never book with them again! Save yourself the trouble!
Update — After all the frustration from the day itself, the manager Sandy was extremely unprofessional and nasty on the phone and offered no type of compensation. I know that other people on the bus will be writing negative reviews also.

We were very happy with the bus we rented for our wedding to bring guest from the hotel to the venue and back again in the Princeton area. The price was the most reasonable we found, the office staff was friendly and helpful, the bus was clean and large enough, and the driver was punctual, kind, and patient with partying wedding guests. We were very pleased with the service and it was nice to not have to worry about something going wrong with the guests getting to where they needed to be on time. We would highly recommend!

I used them to shuttle about 40 of my wedding guests in a motorcoach bus from the Trenton area to NYC. They were punctual and everything went smoothly. The customer service was pretty responsive too.
