The food was good when first opened. We probably ate there 30 times over the years. The Family who owned it was always present and concerned. They opened a party room, and soon the food quality got so bad we stayed away for over a year. We went back a month ago, and it was still only passable.
It is now called Lolas and we ate there last night. They were out of numerous things on menus, a couple dishes arrived at the table cold. Not a good dining experience.
I suppose we will wait six months, to see if they are still open, and then with great trepidation, may try again.,

Good food. At a decent price. They even made us a request for food. The food also came pretty quickly

Ordered 3x from them for pizza. First was not very good at all. 6 years later tried them again and it was ok then this time was just bad. Dough was really thick, pizza was soggy… No char, no crunch just fell over like an Italian Soccer player.

Hands down the best pizza by the slice around. I’ve been to others here in Unilocal like sal’s, villa Roma, aljon’s in west Windsor and plainsboro and others and this is the closest to NYC style pizza. Very crispy thin crust, fresh cheese and good sauce. Been here with my daughter many times and other friends have loved it too.

What a fun place to eat !!! Great food — tip — dont order on the menu — order what is special for the day or week — usually its a recipe from their family and always unbelievably delicious !!!
BYOB which is great — and service spectacular — priced right as well with plenty of parking

Had a Birthday Party for my Wife. Because of Snow ended up being eight people. The restaurant was very good about the number of cancellations (originally was 15). Had pre-​set appetizers (rice balls, fried calamari, stacked egg plant and clams casino. All the appetizers were great, but the rice balls and stacked egg plant were outstanding. I had a egg plant rollitini stuffed with crab meat – delicious. My Wife had chicken milanese and really enjoyed. Everyone thought the food and service was excellent. It was a great time. Carla hosts the parties and is great to work with. We had my Son’s Confirmation here a few years ago. Will have parties here in the future.
