went on St. Patrick’s day and asked for corned beef, nope. No mention of the Ruben sandwich on the menu. Had a beer and left.

Ever since the new owners took over a couple years ago. The food has been amazing! Great service, great atmosphere and the best place to watch a Red Wings game.

they hire the dumbest broads… no offense but if your waitress needs to come to you three times to verify your order before it goes in correctly there is a problem, and that was my last experience before tonight. Today I decide I’m going to order some food and call ahead to ask if the grill is open, it’s 11:00 on a Monday night, and the place I called prior closed at 11:00. I get a response of yeah till midnight, arrive and try and order food, and then I’m told grill is closed we close at midnight… when someone asks is the grill open… listen to the damn question!

Clean standard little Downriver sports bar. Great screens and memorabilia all over the walls. Standard beer/bar food kinda thing. Easy parking. I left my hoodie there and when I called to see if it was still there it wasn’t! Dammit! Nobody’s fault but mine… good place to wait out the traffic or catch a Tiger game on the tube.

I went here a couple weeks ago with a couple buddies for dinner and beers. When I got there my buddy told me the bar was under new ownership and I was interested to see if the food had got any better than the last time I was there. The atmosphere is cool with a modern look and sports memorabilia in frames through out the bar. The bar is not very big but has high ceilings which made it feel bigger. While we were there it was us, an older group of folks and a couple middle aged guys at the bar. All a sudden some dumb rap«song» came on about bit#$‘s and hoes and how the rapper had problems with his girls. I thought the«song» was a little inappropriate for the crowd that was in there & since it was only 6:30pm. Then came the food. I ordered the pizza with Pepperoni and Italian sausage. The pizza was obviously not hand made as it tasted like a Red Baron store bought pizza. The pizza and toppings were not fresh and tasted like they came out of a freezer. The waitress came back and asked how our food was. I usually just bite the bullet if my food isn’t that good but this food was disgusting. I told her I didn’t like it and she asked me if I wanted something else. Now, when a server asks if you want something else it usually means they aren’t going to charge you for what you 1st ordered. I asked for the Beef Nachos which were on special which turned out to be pretty darn good. When my bill came she ended up charging me for the pizza and Nachos. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until I had already paid and didn’t feel like making a big deal about it. Beside’s the food and the billing problem the server was good and attentive. The microbrew and draft beer selection was good. I also like that Jerzey’s has KENO to play while you’re shooting the breeze. Even though the food wasn’t the greatest I am willing to give it a 2nd chance. I hope that the new owners get on the ball and serve fresh and not frozen products as this seems to be a little bit of a nicer bar.

Very cold atmosphere. All the way around. staff included. very weak drinks. I can see where this would be a good bar to just hang out and watch a game or two. But not a «hanging out» type of bar.

Jerzey’s has a great selection of bottled microbrews, a very cool staff(Jen-Bartender), and TV’s on every wall… what more could you ask for?

It’s up, the kick is good!!! You’ve got to be kidding ref, I didn’t trip him with my hockey stick. OK, so I walk into this newly opened bar and the waitresses are wearing the zebra outfit. Because I played sports, all I felt like doing was argue with them, but I didn’t. C’mon ref, I didn’t hack his arm. Guess what Tuesday’s special was? Beside the chicken or the ribs they had… drum roll… A Half Pound Ground Sirloin and fries all for the low low price of $ 3.99. Burger Boy just couldn’t pass that up. Another chance to rate another burger. Let’s say it was pretty good. I expected it to be a little less tasty because of the new grill. It hadn’t worked in enough grease to make those burgers that much special. But this was a good burger, juicy, just the right seasoning. The fries were pretty decent too. The bar is decorated with past and current local and some not local sports heroes autographed jersey’s. Televisions on all the walls. A deco style bar with nice wood accents. I can’t wait until May for the non smoking gang to show up. This may be a new lunch time and afterwork hang out. Ask for a business card, it has specials listed on it like«Free Appetizer with purchase of 2 entrees». I hate referees, but these waitresses may change my mind.
