Came here by chance after finishing up some business nearby and having an hour to kill. What a cute bar. The owner — 90 years old and you can never tell– is a gem. Sweet, quick and passionate about the bar she has handled for over 67 years. The place has a liquor store as well with a surprisingly good wine selection– all the local restaurants buy from here. I had Denise as my bartender who is amazingly sweet and attentive– highly recommended. The place has a historical and cute comfortable vibe you can just relax in. Definitely worth a stop in if you are nearby.

I like Ernie’s look and the location. Their alcohol selection is very nice. The beer is fresh and cold. The owner is a real gem. Denise behind the bar is a great addition to this classic hang out! I hope the menu side comes to Ernie’s to make this a place my friends and I would go more often.

Ernie’s is a relaxed bar steeped in history and nostalgia. Ernie’s is a refreshing change from today’s corporate, plasma-soaked, hyperactive sports bars. Locals come to Ernies to have real conversations. Imagine that! Sure, there’s a single plasma with the game of the day, but you’re more likely to notice the jukebox. Marcie the bartender is a delight — and Ernie’s is a place that reminds me of Cheers where everybody knows your name. Reasonably priced drinks, and delicious hamburgers. Historic, quirky décor. Great jukebox and cool electronic bowling game. For those looking for a late night beer run, Ernie’s is one of the few places in the area that stays open well past the time that most liquor stores close. If you have a chance, definitely check out this oasis.

You have to understand that this is not one of the big city’s fancy bars… this is a local hangout that’s been around a long time. The folks that hang out here are amusing and fun… the beer was cold and reasonably priced. I heard the hamburgers were great… but I did not have one.

Living in the area all of my life I had never been to Ernie’s. Going to dinner with the neighbor’s one Friday night we stopped into DeLorenzo’s in Robbinsville. As always the line was out the door. My neighbor provided his phone number and off we went to Ernie’s, which is conveniently across the street. Stepping into Ernie’s is like stepping back into time. Great retro bar with inexpensive drinks and a liquor store to boot! We had a couple of drinks and exchanged some conversation the next thing we know our wait was over for we received a call that our table was ready. We grabbed a bottle of wine and off we went.
