Between the pictures on the website and the price we knew to expect old furnishings with little updates. We needed cheap though and that’s why we decided to try the place. We but were a bit surprised however to walk in the room and see a broken light above the bed, pieces of the blinds missing, and a window screen that did not fit(and yes the room was severely outdated with pink tile all over the bathroom and old furnishings in the room). We also notice two termites on the bed the next morning(one of which had bitten the person with me), and four in the bathroom the following morning. When I left the second morning around 9am and gave my keys to the maintenance man, since oddly the office did not open until 10am(very inconvenient when you’re trying to leave early, and are supposed to be checked out by 11am) I let him know they may have a termite problem. He seemed aware and said he would pass the word on. Apparently it’s not a new thing :/ They do not clean your room or bring new towels during your stay(which I’m sure is part of how they keep the price down), so if you stay there make sure to hang up your towels instead of throwing them on the floor! Unless we absolutely have to, we are unlikely to stay here again. We will try a different inexpensive place next time.

Nice cheap motel across the street from the beach. Nothing fancy or special but serves its purpose nonetheless. One problem with this motel was the employees. At night, they got a little noisy and we had to tell the female employee to keep it down while she was on her cell phone talking loudly right outside our room. Other than that, great location and great for the money’s worth.

Four stars, relative to it’s cost and the low level of expectation for such an old divey beach motel. $ 49 a night. $ 165 tax total for 3 nights. Only minor complaint I have is the guy in room 12 was a chain smoker, and stunk up the 2nd floor hallway. I couldn’t smell it in my room. Old and outdated, but clean. No bugs, and we searched. Has a small kitchenette with a stovetop, mini fridge, microwave, and all other appliances and utensils. The owner is the father of Tony Dovolani from Dancing with the Stars and Shall We Dance with Jennifer Lopez. Friendly guy from Kosovo. I don’t mind lower class rooms as long as they’re clean and quiet. This one did the job well, and you can’t beat the location, right across from the beach and an ice cream shop. Short walk to Circle K, and the downtown area with shops and restaurants. We will stay again!

Place was gross and old. Worst of all, the manager kicked a family out of the pool for not paying $ 6 each to swim. Owner is not making repairs, and on site staff doesn’t like Americans. Don’t stay here.
