Traverse City Wine and Beer Tours

Traverse city wine and beer tours is simply amazing. Our tour guide was Jody and she was so helpful and personable. The entire trip was very comfortable and Jody was able to make the best out of our time. I planned this trip to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancé!) and Jody was even able to capture the moment. We will forever remember this trip and will be back for more trips with Traverse city wine and beer tours!

My wife and another couple we are close friends with set up a tour with TC-​Wine and Beer Tours a couple months ago as part of a Traverse City weekend getaway. From the very beginning stages of the planning, Jody was very responsive and helpful in providing ideas and other useful info for our tour. We ended up booking a 4 hour private tour on old mission peninsula on a Saturday afternoon and loved every minute of it. Laurie was our driver/​guide, knew the area and local wineries very well, and was an absolute blast to spend the time on our tour with. She was very personable and funny, and made every effort to get to know all of us, and even went out of her way to help us out… everything from letting us know the low-​down for each winery and how to make each tasting session go smooth and fun, right down to making a last minute suggestion near the end of the tour to sneak in one more winery (which ended up being one of our group’s top two favorites). During our tour we ended up running into Jody at one of the stops, so it was great to meet and thank her in person for the help with the tour and great company she is running. I would definitely suggest setting something up with them, and our entire group is looking forward to the next time we get a chance to do so again.

Our good friends and my wife took a 4 hr wine tour w Laurie yesterday and had a fantastic time! She gave us a taste for the area on the drive and then planned our visits so that we could get the most for our time and still hit those wineries we thought we would enjoy. She even suggested where we might want to go even though it was not on our list. Spot-​on selections and a genuinely friendly person to spend the afternoon with. Give this team a call if you’re looking for a nice time seeing the Traverse City wineries!

It was only $ 98 for two of us to tour Old Mission Peninsula. Not only did they pick us up at our hotel (big plus), but Jody was fun and great tour leader. I would suggest this to anyone and definitely plan on doing it again when we come back next spring!

Awesome experience! This rivals the wine tour my girlfriend and I went on in Napa. I unfortunately forgot my tour guide’s name (terrible with names…), but she was fantastic! I had not been to Traverse City in about 7 or 8 years so I told her a couple of the wineries that I wanted to go to and then let her choose the rest. We were picked up downtown right on time and she was able to squeeze five wineries on the Old Mission Peninsula (There was just my girlfriend and I so we spent about 30 minutes at each winery). She offered to take pictures of us at all the wineries and gave us some great suggestions. She even packaged all our bottles up in a box for us to put in our car after the tour. After the tour was over she drove us to a nearby restaurant so we could grab dinner. Just absolutely fantastic customer service. I can’t recommend these guys enough!

We visited four wineries. Some were better than others, but overall we tasted some great wine. Our driver was a lady named Stacy. She was great fun and did a lot to keep the party going. Made a couple of new friends along the way. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. Highly recommended. You will have a great time.

We had such an awesome experience with Traverse City Beer and wine tours. Laurie was such an amazing tour guide, she gave us some background info on each winery and offered to take several photos for us. The owners were also great to work with. I had never been on a wine tour so I let the owners pick the places we went — Everywhere was great and we had such a fun time. Highly recommend

My friends and I go on wine vacations every summer around the country. Each vacation we have a wine tour to drive us around for safety and to get an inside track. From beginning to end this company was a joy to work with. We had Mary as our driver and she was a pleasure! Due to our time management skill we got in five wineries on the peninsula in four hours. We are already discussing next summer and all agree that if we return we will definitely use this company again. Don’t think about it just do it!

Jody did a superb job on our tour and this will likely be what we measure future tours from. We had a great time and our guide, Jody, picked wineries in beautiful locations with breathtaking ambience. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour company and will definitely use this company on future tours!

My boyfriend and I had the time of our lives on this tour. Definitely recommend Bry’s (try the reds) and request to go to Right Brain Brewery. The views were breathtaking and we got some great pictures. Our driver was fun, sweet, and accommodating. We will definitely be doing this again!
