Great establishment! The whiskey is awesome. Loved their spin on the Moscow Mule. Shelly is a great bartender! A must stop if you are in the area.

This is a super cool pubby tasting room just south of downtown TC. There are four whiskies up for tasting via flight, neat, or in a drink. The Cherry Bourbon is unique and characteristic of the cherry heritage of TC. Prices by the bottle are in the $ 30’s…a bit pricey but this is premium crafted bourbon. The staff/partners are very knowledgeable and will share with you some of the ways that they differentiate their product from other distillers.

Great experience and very smooth bourbon. Truly the best old fashioned I’ve had in traverse city.

Great whisky, but no beer, wine or other spirits. That said — GREATWHISKY! If you want food — bring it! They don’t serve food but have an open door policy for you to bring your favorite food. They also have talent there at times — they lose a couple seats but the talent was well worth it! Looking forward to visiting this summer — looks like a great patio to make use of.

Man this place RulZ I can’t express how amazing the staff is. They are very simple with their menu and drinks they make. If you enjoy spirits it is a must go. I picked up some beard oil while there too and it’s my favorite. great low key place to bring friends and have some good drinks.

Long time drinker, first time visitor! I found Traverse City Whiskey Co’s whiskey down state and fell madly in love with it. So, it was great to come and sit down at the bar with it. The bartender was so sweet and makes a fabulous Manhattan. We shared adorable puppy pictures on our phones. The other patrons were very nice as well. It was a great evening spent there with even better conversation which was almost as good as the whiskey.

Great vibe. Smooth whiskey. A perfect way to spend a Saturday with good friends(or your husband). For all those who frequent distilleries like me, it’s like a little piece of the Pacific Northwest in the Midwest. Highly recommend it from one whiskey lover to another. Ask for Arthur, excellent service.

Cool space but drinks are priced like you are in downtown Chicago. If you don’t mind paying $ 9 for a skimpy 1 oz pour, knock yourself out. It is a neat space, staff tries well to act the part, not much seating but a unique setting for sure.

Great little place to get a nice mixed drink. The bartender was very nice and made the perfect drink for me. Just wish the drinks were not so expensive for how small they are. Good place to watch the game as well since it is not very crowded.

This place is a revelation. Off the main strip in TC and hushed in a more residential setting, TCWco is off the beaten path, so to speak. The décor is really charming, and the quiet setting is perfect for drinking whiskey. And the whiskey is damn good! Best whiskey I’ve ever had, as a matter of fact(full disclosure: although I am Irish, I am no whiskey connoisseur). We had a delightful time. The cocktails were the best I have ever had(I imagine this has something to do with the top-notch whiskey being the main ingredient). Didn’t try the food but it was just finger food from what I saw. This place is a hidden gem and I will definitely be going back next time I’m in town

Stopped in last night on our way back from Right Brain Brewery just for a taste. Ended up closing the place down and having three Michigan Mules, my boyfriend just drank the cherry whiskey and we needed to buy a bottle to take with us! The décor is super cool, kind of like American country side. Our bar tender was awesome! She helped us out with a few other places to go to around town! We totally loved it and we will be coming back for sure!!!

Great spot, small cozy atmosphere. Michigan Mule recommended by bartender and pleasantly good! Def over priced for drinks, but if you on a holiday why not…

On a recent visit to Traverse City, we had a few afternoon thunderstorms that forced us to seek shelter indoors. And what better place than the bar at Traverse City Whiskey. We bellied up to the bar and chatted with Natalie, who filled us in on the distilling process and a bit of a history of the company. They make two products, the XXX bourbon whiskey and a cherry infused whiskey. If you are going to keep your menu simple, you better do it well. And TC Whiskey does just that! The cherry infused was spectacular in a delicious Manhattan or old fashioned(we tried several of their signature cocktails!). They offer some munchies like olives or pretzels, but the star here is that cherry whiskey. Not overly sweet or too tart, but refreshing and not at all harsh as some whiskey I’ve had in the past. Natalie was an excellent bartender and was beyond kind for entertaining us during the downpour. We enjoyed ourselves and our cocktails so much that we revisited a second time, and Shelly was a delightful bartender as well. I was glad to know that they sell their whiskey all over the state of Michigan(and several other states) including down the street from me! I’ll just have to learn how to make an old fashioned that rivals the excellent ones I had at Traverse City Whiskey. Looking forward to returning!

This was an amazing location with such a great vibe. I came with my family from Florida and found it very comfortable and friendly. The drinks were beyond affordable and the food was delicious. If you are looking for a nice app(fish dip ahhhh) and drink with a sweet vibe and good music this is your place! We can’t wait to come back next year for our year supply of whiskey.

I come up to traverse city all the time, I feel like I practically live here. Driving by Cass and 14th the other day I noticed a sign for Hot Toddys. I stopped into Traverse City Whiskey Co. and was welcomed into a very cool new TC spot. People were at the bar drinking and laughing and before I knew it I was drinking a great Hot Toddy with owners Chris and Moti telling me how they turned a concept into a great bar. Had a great experience while I was there. Thanks for bringing this new spot to TC. Can’t wait to come back with my friends.
