Run fast and far from these people. It is unfortunate because I think they provide a quality product, but they do NOT stand behind the Kinetico water treatment units. We recently had a part which was under recall after only a year and a half, of a VERY EXPENSIVE water treatment system. They charged us a $ 65.00 «diagnostic fee» and an $ 85.00 service call fee for a part which failed and was under RECALL! They are horrific to deal with. I have currently put in a complaint to Kinetico and the Michigan State Attorney General regarding their business practices. When have you ever heard of the consumer paying for a recall? Sketchy practices and I won’t stand for it.
I just want people to be aware of the service that they can expect if you deal with Owens.
