The Olson’s on Hammond is a nice place to shop. Although they are a little pricy it is a convenient place to shop, what you save in gas by going across town makes up for the higher grocery prices. The employees are nice and helpful when asked a question. I also appreciate that the store is always clean… I shop there often and will continue to do so.

I stopped into Oleson’s with ‘up North’ friends in order to gather supplies for dinner that evening. They carried nearly everything I needed to create my personal culinary contribution. I found the store’s layout to be a little counter-intuitive. Produce and meat selections were good. I’d go elsewhere if I needed a weekly market, but it served its purpose as a one-stop grocery destination.

This grocery store has most of what you need but sometimes it gets a little annoying. They have some food that you can’t get anywhere else but then they don’t have some things which almost all grocery stores have. Their pastry/donut section is nice but it is sometimes pretty empty. I like their deli because it has great meats like smoked turkey breast and sliced glazed ham. I also love their chickens which spin on a rotisserie and are juicy and flavorful. They have a nice beverage and dairy section with a lot of different types of milk. If you are taking your kids there don’t expect for them to be asking for anything when they see the toy section. It is sad! It’s a quarter of one isle with the crappiest toys on earth. Toys from the dollar store last longer than this junk. Prices are my biggest complain though. For what you get it is too overpriced. I love the selection but it is just not worth it. This grocery store is a grocery store it has some great food and lacks to have some food.
