After carefully researching our jeweler selections, we picked James C Smith to create a custom band for my anniversary gift. I am beyond particular and won’t settle for anything less than perfect. Additionally, the new band hD to match the old band. They did such a great job, I couldn’t tell the difference. They also accommodated my rush time-line and had it ready before my deadline. They polished all of my rings to where they are sparkling like new. The customer service and attention to detail will have me coming back for more!

Had a great experience here. We wanted someone who could make a wedding band ‘in house’ and found that most places around TC send the work out of town. James was an exception to that in the fact that they do mold and produce custom pieces on site. My wife reluctantly gave up her ring for a few days in order for a wax mold to be produced. It was a bit of a rush order since we were leaving for FL for a long period of time. Our expectations were definitely met and although the estimate came in over what we had originally budgeted… we decided it was worth it to keep our $ local and have the expedited custom service under 1 roof. (That’s not to imply they are expensive, the piece we had produced was a custom fit.)

My wonderful boyfriend (now fiancé!) designed the ring of my DREAMS with James. I can’t tell you how beautiful it is! The detail and love that was put into this ring is astounding. When he got down on his knee and opened the box it LITERALLY almost blinded me because it was so sparkly in the sun! I cannot recommend James C Smith Fine Jewlery enough for all of your needs — especially for those guys looking to make a one-of-a-kind ring like my guy :)

I first went into this shop a week prior to my wedding. My fiancé and I had been engaged for 2.5 years and her ring needed a bit of attention. The guy in the shop was helpful and cleaned her ring up for free.
Due to the great service we received, we went back this week during our honeymoon to get her engagement ring and wedding band soldered together. Her engagement ring also needed to be sized ½ a size. They rushed the order and had it done in a little over 24 hours with no additional charge. They did a fantastic job on the rings and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there.
This is an all around great store an would recommend them to anyone.
