The Dennos is a beautiful, clean museum with exhibits that are always changing. Right now they are displaying painted skateboards and ceramic donuts, which appeal to a younger audience. It really captured me as an NMC student, and gave me a calming place to go in between classes.

Nice museum with an Inuit exhibit that was impressive for the museum’s size. The Seungmo Park exhibit was excellent and made the museum visit worth the admission price. To view the images constructed of only wire from both close up and afar was very interesting and engaging.

This is a very attractive museum space. If you get a chance to see the Seungmo Park exhibit it is well worth it. She sculpts layers of metal mesh into the most intricate works. You step back and this amazing image appears where there was only thin metal wires before. The permanent exhibit of Inuit Art is fascinating. The Chinese photography exhibit also impressed. Most of the pictures are black and white. I’m always amazed at the power of this limited color palette.

We went to see the Birds of Paradise exhibit(which was wonderful, by the way) and I was very impressed with this little Museum. — nice exhibition space for its special exhibit — small theater where they showed a related video — small presentation room — couple of other small exhibit areas with nicely displays — very nice little gift shop — overall, a very very pleasant space – when you walk into the building, it’s a large open and welcoming area. worth a visit.

Went to a reception here. The food they served was hit and miss, with better than average(for the area) vegetarian options. The place is not very big. They had a blatant Körperwelten rip off exhibit which was horrible to have next to a reception with dinner. There was a small area with some very neat multi-media art. Most of the Inuit art(from Canada? and modern art?) was blocked off to us. I guess it would normally be a decent place to spend a couple hours given that you haven’t seen Body Worlds.
