Not bad, but not great. It’s a tourist trap with good but over priced cheese. Chevron station though right outside which was nice. The seating area inside is very interesting but far from unique. It’s a nice change of scenery from the desolate flat farm lands along the highways in and out of Traver. Food is basic and prices are high but that’s not surprising. Gift shop is filled with expensive stuff you don’t need and souvenirs that nobody needs. Most of the stuff you can get at home no matter where you’re from. Employees are not very accommodating and sales clerks are just waiting to go home. Would I stop here again? No. Would I recommend you stop here? Uh… well…maybe.

We stumbled across this great find on our way home from Visalia. This place is amazing! This review does not include the Texas BBQ restaurant but does include everything else. The treehouse was especially neat and we loved that you could sign it. All of the vintage artwork made this place unique and fun to just walk around in. We tried the ice cream parlor, which was delicious. The gift shop had everything gifty you could want and a fridge full of 100 kinds of root beer. Wine and cheese tasting available. We bought fruit from the fruit stand and it was fresh and juicy. I just can’t understand the bad reviews for such a great stop in the valley. We loved it and can’t wait to try the restaurant next time.

Family road trip. Daughter’s family was here 2 years ago. Gone is the restaurant feel with — big menu; now there are a few items for breakfast, lunch, and later. — servers that come to your table for orders; now you order at the counter. — mugs, plates, cutlery; you get paper & plastic — great food with generous servings; now … not so much — the steak sandwich was a cheap cut of beef, bread, with grilled onions & peppers that were pre cooked(don’t know when) — breakfast bowl contents were cooked til dry — good prices; now not worth the expense! The grands loved the chickens, goats, parrots and it does have a fun ambience. May stop for gas & coffee … in the future!

Lets start with positive. I loved this place I stopped if i Was Hungry or not. But. Things have changed. Food still tastes good. Now if feels like management runs this Place from the 80th floor in Manhattan New York and never visits. Lines to order are very long and if you do not enjoy standing than do nit stop. prices are high. Small kids run around making noise. Service SUCKS. store is sweet

I have always loved going here to see cool stuff. It is fun. The shop is cool. I have eaten at bravo farms a lot, and I would give the food an above average rating, normally, but, Saturday my wife and I stopped by to eat. I order the ST Lois spare ribs. The ribs seemed like they where microwaved and not fresh, and they had ketchup all over the top of the ribs. I don’t know if that’s how they normally make them, but I’ve never seen ribs with ketchup on the top! it was way below average! then to top it off I got sick, and that was the only thing I had eaten! Won’t be back to eat!

This place is quite a gimmick. Yes they have beer on tap, ice cream, burgers and fries, nachos, coffee, and cheese. Oh. And a bunch of nuts snacks and sweets. But to call it vintage cheese factory is a joke. If you’re looking for. Packaged block cheddar cheese. Check ’Souvenirs’ check Pre cut cheese blocks for $ 5.99. Check Chicken barn check Places to sit and chill check Good family stop and rest place check If you’re driving by — check it.

We love stopping at this tourist stop on our way from LA to Yosemite. There is a kids playground. My daughter loves to play and get out of the car. My husband loves the BBQ. I love the fresh cheese curds, but they are only made on certain days.

This was a great stop. We ate then we’re able walk around and look at so many interesting things. The menu isn’t very big but what they have on it was fresh and delicious! The place is kind of old it still worth stopping.

We stopped here during our route up the 99 north, with a fun pit stop for some Americana. This place is amazing! +Good array of food choices +Lots of areas to eat +A lot of random things to look at +Great bunch of cheese options(we have since asked family to stop by for some cheese for us when they take the 99 south to us!) +You can watch the cheese being made +They have play areas for kids +They have a lot of random things to take pictures of +They also have a lot of things to purchase in the store +You can get gas here +You can buy ice here too(yes, we had a cooler o’ stuff) +They have games Bottom Line — Basically, this is a good and fun stop if you’re wanting to grab food, a beverage, cheese, gifts, ice, stretch your legs, take pictures, and/or be amused while in the midst of a long road trip in the middle of Central California!

I stopped here with the intent to pick up some fruit and an ice cream cone. Upon visiting the men’s room I noticed that there were absolutely no soap dispensers — neither temporary nor permanent. I reasoned that their employees probably do not wash their hands. Their bathrooms were also pretty dirty and disgusting, leaving me with the impression that hygiene is not of much importance here. This was such a turn off I left without purchasing anything.

Really cool place to stop! Right off the freeway and so much to see. love the vintage feel! So many quirky signs and things to do for the whole family. My kids(5&3) loved it here! My son’s favorite part were all the metal dump trucks. he looked through most of them until he found the«right one.» The treehouse was pretty amazing. just be cautious because it gets pretty cramped inside since it’s narrow and you may get stuck in a spot while trying to let others make their way too. The time we went, the mini golf course was closed off, the shooting range was down, and some of the arcade games were not working. We still had a blast and hope to be back before we move so that we can experience the things we didn’t get to while there. We also packed a lunch(based on the previous reviews stating that the food offered could be pricey), so next time, we may try some of their bbq cause it smelled amazing! If you can, take a pen with you so you can add your name to the treehouse! We left our pen on the table at the top floor, but I doubt it will stay there, so don’t forget yours!

There are these cheesy signs dotting the highway begging you to stop. I for some reason hate that kind of marketing and so have never stopped here, despite years of traversing the 99 from LA to Sacramento. But seriously… trust the signs, if you have kids, you want to stop. Go in, see the tree house, the playground is the perfect way to run out energy from being trapped in the car for hours. The little store is delightful. TONS of great products from independent food companies and farms. I probably could have browsed this place for hours. I wasn’t hungry, so we didn’t get coffee or ice cream, but it all looked and smelled amazing.

So there are about 20 billboards attempting to convince you that you need to stop at Bravo Farms… understandable considering it’s not where you’re going but probably on the way. For us, it’s been something we’ve passed often en route to see family in Fresno. Finally all those signs got to us and we decided to drop in. While there we had some BBQ, bought some produce, ordered ice cream and let the kids play in the tree house… and that was only about half of what they had to offer. In a nut shell(which they also have… lol), Bravo Farms is like a pit stop mall. I definitely recommend stopping and checking out what they have to offer but like a mall, expect a higher mark up and food court quality dining. Our BBQ was ehh and the produce and ice cream were definitely just average. The tree house was awesome though and the shop is a cool place to pick up and gift for someone you might have missed. Try or Diet Final Word Try it… at least once. Eat somewhere else but stop, stretch your legs and let the kids have a little fun.

Fabulous waypoint along Highway 99. Very eclectic; with something for every age, taste, and purpose. Gourmet cheeses and meats, custom smoker the size of a semi tailer giving off an aroma guaranteed to make a person drool like Pavlov’s dog, candies, sandwich shop, homemade jerky, ice cream parlor, billiards, air rifle arcade, 7-story treehouse, petting zoo, antique shop, wine shop, gas station, and sooo much more!

This place is actually pretty great. Looks like part of old world Route 66 life and the BBQ is by far the best food I’ve had while driving anywhere on the 99.

This place is great! So creepy on the exterior, the gift shop though amazes you. So much to look at it, great finds! The food = delicious! We had a tri tip sandwich that was fab. Staff is all very nice too!!! Had a great time stopping at this little gem ;)

Went here for the child entertainment value, left with a full belly of surprisingly delicious BBQ. Literally, the perfect place to stop if you’re taking the family up to Yosemite. The gift shop has some cute stuff, grossly over priced of course, but that’s the deal with places like this … places with DOPE playgrounds that is!!! I mean, the term ‘playground’ doesn’t even it do Bravo Farms justice, this place is a road side MASTERPIECE. From the old timey shooting range to the 7 story tree house, this place has something interesting for everyone. It’s also an excellent photo shoot location, stopped here on our way back from picturesque Yosemite National Park, yet some of my best travel pics are of my family running around Bravo Farms with our faces coated in BBQ sauce. Try the chicken and brisket, so good. If you’ve got some extra time, spring for a round of mini golf, you get to explore the whole property when you play, but the ‘greens’ are a little beat up. Also, check out the vintage arcade upstairs, it’s a hidden gem. Bottom line, if you’re on the 99, get yo butt to Bravo!

This was a nice stop for family play if you bring your own food. I give 3 stars because their food and gift shop is SO overpriced. It’s how they make their money… yadda yadda, yes yes yes okay but still overpriced for their target market. Families don’t have 6.95 to drop on a small bag of pistachios. 2 tritip sandwiches(9.95), 2 mac n cheese(5.00), 2 cokes(3.00)for a total of 41.00!!! And it wasn’t even a big FAT sandwich and their«white cheddar» mac n cheese tasted more like sour cream. My daughter(the mac n cheese fanatic) didn’t even like it. But it was fun for the kids to play and feed the animals. The guy in the ice cream place was nice enough to split a regular scoop into 2 and charge us for 1 because I asked if they had a kids scoop and they dont. 3.75 for a single scoop. If and when we do it over again we would eat at the food truck outside(7.00 for a tritip sandwich) and bring our own snacks and drinks. ALSO, BRING A ROLLOFQUARTERSSOWECANFEEDTHEANIMALS. then skip the ice cream there and go to rite Aid for a scoop.
