What an amazing benefit to have a nearby post office that can process your passports. If you are processing passports for minors you and your spouse need to be present unless you have a notarized letter giving the one spouse permission to get the passport. The children need to be present as well. Driving to Fresno is not my best option.
When I first called I was told in a very conceding way that they were closed and that they don’t process passports. It’s NOT TRUE. They indeed do until 2:30. I was helped by Monica. She is an amazing employee. She is efficient and kind to boot. She processed my papers, acknowledged another customer, and took my kiddos photos for the passports. I wish all postal workers were this amazing! She made my Day :-)
