This is a nice family style dropzone. I definitely recommend it for students, tandems, and experienced jumpers alike.

Me and my sister went to do tandem skydiving this Sunday June 5^th 2016 I highly recommend this location to every single one of you guys looking at this the hospitality is well beyond your expectations they greet you with a nice smile since the beginning that you first arrived they explained everything detail by detail my instructor did everything so professional and made it seem so easy but the best of all that everything was so fun I jump from 13 000 feet and I’m ready to do my second jump already so if you’re ready to jump definitely head out there to skydive California it will blow your mind away with lots of fun there is something to do for every single one of you guys hopefully this review helps out a lot of people that are not ready to jump it makes it much easier to actually do it being my first time thank you Skydive California crew skydiving+me=Fun

BLUF: All I can say is Yes Yes Yes! Whether you are an experienced jumper, a student, or just a curious tandemer, this is the place for you.
After having done a tandem at Skydive Hollister, I did a little online shopping to find a good place to get my AFF so I could begin to start soloing. I was stuck between Skydive California and Bay Area Skydiving, but after seeing the reviews for Skydive California, I knew this was the place.
I booked my AFF date with Aaron a week prior and we began our first class on Thursday and managed to finish by Saturday due to excellent weather. I paid for the total cost up front, $ 1,460, which included seven jumps and complete gear. By paying upfront, I got a free redo card in case I needed to redo a level or a free video session. Since I didn’t have to use my redo card, I’m saving that free video for another day! Aaron was cool enough to also pay for my USPA membership since I had paid upfront.
My instructor was Hiley who was the perfect combination of professional yet laid back. It took me a jump to realize that skydiving isn’t a sport you can just muscle through. You have to relax. Hiley helped me gain the fundamental knowledge and feel confident to execute the skills and maneuvers in the air.
The best thing about Skydive California is how organized it is. There are monitors in all buildings and the hanger with up to date manifests and timers to keep jumpers on track and they don’t have an issue with double and triple booking tandems like Skydive Hollister did. I was confident to bring my friend to do a tandem and he felt comfortable with the introduction he was given. Plus the plethora of dogs running around is a bonus.
Overall, definitely my go to drop zone from here on out and will be bringing as many friends as possible!

I tried skydiving last March, it was my first time skydiving and it was awesome!!! The crews were really great and accomodating and the videographer (I think his name is Heiley) was really good. I would highly recommend Skydive California.

It was my first time skydiving it was awesome at 10,000′ views were great my jumping crew was really good at what they do triston gave all information on what you was expecting with gear the jump and landing the camera man Hiley was cool photos were great these guys treated me like I had known them forever I would recommend going here it is a awesome place

This place is great. Staff is super friendly. I went as an assistant for a corporate event and they made the whole process a breeze. We are putting a video together from the event and we are able to work with them to get some of the jump footage to really make the video come alive. Thanks :)

I am not one to write reviews but this place deserves it, and with reason.
My first skydive was a tandem that happened up north, I won’t mention the place as to not put them down, very nice people but very blunt, it felt like they were «working» and not there to have fun.
After my first jump I decided to get licensed, and after looking around I found this place and as of my first step on the Drop Zone I immediately felt extremely comfortable. The gang here helps you every step of the way, answer any and all questions or concerns you may have, make you feel super comfortable, reassure you of any doubts and best of all make sure you remember you are here to have fun!

My friend came to visit me after 8 years. So we decided to sky diving. I was very reluctant bcz I can’t take rides how can I do this. But we went. Crew explain everything very clear. They show us video in which they clearly tell us if we r scared and don’t wana do the jump we can say no and they will take us back.
My instructor was Mike. He was very nice easy going. He just gave me very simple instruction which was just enjoy. He told me to put my legs in chair pose when we were landing. That was a key tip to everyone for landing. My landing was very smooth. Chair pose mean when u swing u put ur legs up that’s how u land. An other thing when u r in the air there is no way back or changing mind because everything is very quick
My friend and my husband had very rough landing bcz their instructor didn’t tell them right.

I recently visited Skydive California less than a week ago, and I’ve got to say that this was an amazing experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful upon arrival.
They made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire jump. Huge shoutout to Tristan for landing me down safely. I would defiantly recommend Skydive California to all my friends, the staff loves their job and it shows!
Yes, the staff expects tips, but I was more than welcome to give them tips. I had an amazing experience and they all did an amazing job. 5 stars all the way!!! I wouldn’t want to jump anywhere else!

I am extremely afraid of heights, but I thought I would try and conquer my fear w/​my dad on his 50^th bday .
The staff is so amazing here at skydive California. I had told them I had a fear of heights and they made sure to explain everything to me so that I would feel comfortable .
I am so glad I decided to go skydiving because it was the best time ever. After you skydive once with them they give you a coupon for $ 99 for your next skydive but you have to buy it that same day that you did your first jump. So of course I bought another jump for my 21^st birthday which is in 16 days !! and I’m bringing my best friend w/​me as well since I told her how awesome it was .
If you are scared of heights and want to overcome your fear with some pretty cool people I would highly recommend coming to SKYDIVE CALIFORNIA.

What a great experience. I agree with all the other reviewers positive comments about of the instructors and photographers. They’re professional but also really fun and obviously really enjoy what they do, which is contagious. The facility and equipment are excellent. I also recommend getting the video — it’s so fun to re-​watch. This place gets high marks across the board. Definitely recommended!

Such a great experience! This was my first skydiving experience and I’m so glad to have chosen that place. The team there is extremely friendly and very professional. Great atmosphere, great spot. I highly recommend taking the combo pic + video during your dive: you just wait a bit after your jump and then they give you HD photo and video montage on a usb key.
Did the tamdem @ 10,000 feet.
Will be back for sure with some friends!

I visited Skydive California a couple weeks ago for my very first skydive, and I have to say it was overall one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff was incredibly helpful, warm and funny. They made me feel at home and at ease before embarking on a very «risky» adventure (statically it is very safe but it is perceived as risky) Their dedication to not only having a fun time but a creating a safe experience was evident. I was so impressed that I purchased a second jump for both myself and my wife. I opted to have the video, which I highly recommend. Both because you want a lasting memory since the adrenaline makes you almost forget certain events but also because the camera man, Tristan, is hilarious and makes we want to purchase a second video just so I can jump with him. Great team, great location and great experience! 5 STARS ALL DAY!!!

The full retail price for the $ 99 Amazon Local offer is $ 155 (10K jump), not $ 185 (13K jump) as advertised on Amazon. (Amazon wouldn’t post this review because I labeled the offer as false advertising)
Expect hard sell for the video/​photo package, $ 120 per person.

I skydived once in Mexico and once in the Bay Area but my tandem jump here at Skydive California was the most fun! This was my first time getting the video and I think that made the actual jump more fun because you get to jump with someone else right next to you. Of course the video and pictures came out great but free falling with the video guy is way more fun than without. We were able to see San Francisco in the air. Another plus about Skydive California is that everyone lands right there on the grass so you can watch your friends land and you don’t have to take a bus back.

Skydive California is a wonderful place to experience your first jump! The office staff is welcoming and upbeat. My instructor, Neil, couldn’t have been better. Neil kept his instructions simple and by the numbers & he smartly gave those instructions once on the ground & once in the air. The instructors have hundreds of hours of experience and just following instructions make the jump as easy as it could possibly be. The photos & videos I purchased separately were well worth it!
The down side of the jump, I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN & AGAIN! Thanks Skydive California & Neil for an awesome experience!

I LOVE this place. I’ve been jumping at most of the dropzones in Northern California and this one is my favorite so far. It’s owned and operated by skydivers who are passionate about the sport and passionate about quality. The facilities are terrific, and all the equipment is brand spanking new, and they are always upgrading and making improvements.
As for aircraft, they have a sweet turbo Cessna 206 with a big door and handles. A 4-​way team and their camera-​flyer can train all day, or two tandems and a camera-​flyer can go up at once.
Speaking of sweet, Ellie the dropzone dog is worth the visit alone. :)
If you want to skydive at a place where the staff really cares, this is the place to go.
